Of Life And Knowledge

Ecclesiastes 7:12 (KJV): For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

It is the excellence of knowledge that wisdom gives life to them that have it.

This is what Jesus came to do, to give you a life above your ordinary life. For He says, I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

However, this is life with knowledge. You cannot speak of the life of the Spirit without knowledge; these two walk hand in hand.

This is why the scripture says that you have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness through knowledge (2 Peter 1:3).

This knowledge is through His Word.

Life comes every time you fill your Spirit with the Word. For His words are Spirit and life (John 6:63).

Every time you meditate on the Word and give yourself wholly to it, zoè which is the life of God is stirred up in you. Hallelujah!

You cannot speak of the life of the Spirit without knowledge; these two walk hand in hand. Life comes every time you fill your Spirit with the Word. For His words are Spirit and life.

PRAYER: Father, I am most grateful for today. Another day to bask in the realities of your promise and of the life of the Spirit . I walk deeper in your Word, to study it more and understand it more. As I do, the life of the Spirit is demonstrated more mightily through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
