Enlarge your Tent

Enlarge your Tent

Apostle Grace Lubega

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand; and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited (Isaiah 54:2-3)

By faith, we enlarge our tents and by the principles of greatness, we strengthen the stakes. The theme scripture is an instruction to the children of God to stretch their faith and dream big.

Let the word of God and not the world define the boundaries of your possibilities. Some people’s dreams and visions are too small for God to fit in them. Purpose to revisit your dreams, goals and aspirations. Rub out the tiny goals that the hand of man can accomplish and write God dreams: things that can only take Jehovah Himself to accomplish.

Our theme scripture says enlarge the tent, stretch forth the curtains and lengthen the cords. This is the place of stretching your expectations. But it goes on to say, strengthen the stakes. The stakes are the pegs and pins by which the tent is held in place. These are the principles by which men walk into greatness.

Dream big but also do the things that big dreamers do: think like they think, talk like they talk, act like they act. You cannot have a million dollar dream with a minimum wage work ethic. If your dream is to be the world’s greatest preacher then read the word like one, win souls like one, pray like one. If you are going to be the richest businessman then plan like one, give like one. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 22:29, Habakkuk 2:2-3

GOLDEN NUGGET:
By faith, we enlarge our tents and by the principles of greatness, we strengthen the stakes.

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for the greatness in my spirit. I am going upward and upward only. I wax great by the power of God and His anointing upon my life. Great things are spoken of me. Kings come to the brightness of my rising. I do mighty things for the expansion of His kingdom and to the glory of His name. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Diligence in Faith

Diligence in Faith
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29)

Diligence is a mark of greatness. Like our theme scripture says, it causes one to stand before kings and not mean men. One may be diligent in prayer, in fasting, in service to God, at their work places and in their businesses, all of which are very good, but there is another place of diligence: DILIGENCE in FAITH.

The Bible says that we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul (Hebrews 10:39). A man who is diligent in faith believes unto the end; he never quits, he holds onto the Word (its integrity and its inherent power to work). Nothing shakes his faith! Even when everything around him is contrary to his belief, he maintains his confession and does not compromise his convictions.

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute (Proverbs 12:24). If you are diligent in faith, you rule over your circumstances, over weakness, over disease, over failure and over the things that cause men to fall.

Don’t let go of your faith; don’t allow any issue to speak louder than the voice of His Word. This is the victory by which we overcome the world. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Mark 9:23, Hebrews 11:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:
A man who is diligent in faith believes unto the end; he never quits, he holds onto the Word (its integrity and its inherent power to work). Even when everything around him is contrary to his belief, he maintains his confession and does not compromise his convictions.

PRAYER: God, I thank you because the Word is working in my life; it builds my faith and the convictions of fortitude daily. I am a diligent spirit. I cannot be slowed. I cannot be shaken. I cannot be moved. I cannot be brought down. Greater is He that is in me than the devil in the world. I do not draw back; it is in my nature to endure to the end. If I hold the beginning of my confidence until the end, I partake Christ. That is my testimony and story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Why We Preach The Grace: The Curse Of The Law

Why We Preach The Grace: The Curse Of The Law
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″][restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree (Galatians 3:13)

The only curse spoken of in the New Testament is the curse of the law. God has never determined to curse His children because the Bible says that He cannot curse whom He has blessed.(Numbers 23:8,20)

Even in the account of the fall of man, He cursed the snake and the ground but did not use ‘curse’ with regard to Adam or Eve. (Genesis 3:14-17)

So where did the curse of the law start from? In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses gives a list of curses that were to befall the children of Israel if they broke the law. He said: ‘cursed shall thou be in the city and cursed shall thou be in the field…Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store…Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in and cursed shall thou be when thou goest out…’ (Deuteronomy 28).

He goes on and on turning every blessing into a curse in the event of disobedience of God’s commandments.

To redeem us from these curses, Jesus identified which one of all the curses Moses had listed he could personify and chose that of hanging on a tree. The scriptures say that cursed is he who hangs on a tree (Deuteronomy 21:23).

By implication, He became ‘a’ curse and destroyed ‘the’ curse. As a new creature in Christ, you are no longer subject to any curses. God declared a permanent blessing over your life; and, bound Himself to it by an oath and swearing by His name because there was no one greater to swear by. (Hebrews 6:13-17). Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 10:22, Galatians 3:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:
As a new creature in Christ, you are no longer subject to any curses. God declared a permanent blessing over your life; and, bound Himself to it by an oath and swearing by His name because there was no one greater to swear by.

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for this great word. I am free from the curse of the law. I walk under the liberty of your grace. I am perpetually blessed. I have a life sentence of prosperity; a life sentence of divine health; a life sentence of favour; a life sentence of wisdom; a life sentence of mercy; a life sentence of greatness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Proverbes 10:22, Galatiens 3:10

Amen.

Christian Soldiers: How We Fight

Christian Soldiers: How We Fight
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″][restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? (1 Samuel 17:26)

As children of God, we fight by COVENANT. That is the conviction on which David stands when he asks how Goliath the ‘uncircumcised Philistine’ would dare to defy the armies of the living God.

The Bible says that wisdom is better than weapons of war (Ecclesiastes 9:18). The wisdom by which we fight is that we are in a covenant relationship with God and that our victory was already won. That knowledge is what swung the stone that brought down Goliath.

A local adage says: “if fate is not on your side, even a banana can break your tooth”.

That is how we relate with the enemy; he is perpetually on the wrong side of victory. The battle lines were eternally drawn and he stands on the losing side.

Giants don’t fall by how much we pray or fast; they fall by the covenant that made us more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us.

FURTHER STUDY: John 16:33, Colossians 2:15

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Giants don’t fall by how much we pray or fast; they fall by the covenant that made us more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you because I am a victor in Christ. The devil is in trouble because of me. I have already overcome. I stand on the authority that I am a child of God; that though a thousand may fall by my right and ten thousand on the left, none of these things shall by any means come near me; that I am not afraid of the destruction that wastes at noonday or the terror by night. By His covenant; the hosts of heaven’s armies have mounted guard over me. I am divinely protected and watched over. In Jesus’ name Amen.

ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Jean 16:33, Colossiens 2:15

Christian Soldiers: The Armour of God

Christian Soldiers: The Armour of God

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand. Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).

To put on the amour of God means to be conscious of the things that constitute the armour: the convictions of truth, that you are the righteousness of God, that you teach the gospel of peace, that you have faith in your spirit, that you are saved by God and that His word is in you.

Before I learnt this truth, I used to prepare for ‘warfare’ by ‘wearing the armour.’ I would say to myself: ‘I now wear the helmet of salvation, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit.’

Then, having dressed up fully with my imagined armour, I would start to wrestle with demons and principalities. After I was done, I would remove the armour until the next time I was called to battle.

But the armour is not something you wear imaginatively; it is also not something you ‘put on’ and ‘put off.’ Simply be conscious of who you are in Christ; that is what will cause you to stand in the evil day.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:4, Ecclesiastes 9:18

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Putting on the amour of God means be conscious of the things that constitute the armour: the convictions of truth, that you are the righteousness of God,that you teach the gospel of peace, that you have faith in your spirit, that you are saved by God and that His word is in you.

PRAYER: Thank you my God for this knowledge. I know how to fight. I stand in the consciousness of who is in me and whose I am. I fight by covenant and my enemies fall by the power of the covenant on which I stand. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Generational Curses and Generational Blessings

Generational Curses and Generational Blessings

Apostle Grace Lubega

What mean ye that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying the fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall no more have occasion to use this proverb in Israel. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him (Ezekiel 18: 2-3, 20).

The new creature in Christ is not subject to any generational curses. Like our theme scripture shows: the notion that one is bound because of his father, grandmother or great grandfather’s action is scripturally inaccurate.

I know a Christian who was stuck and afflicted by problem after problem in her life. When she spoke to a man of God over the issue, he told her to first trace her family line as far back as she could and then start to break the generational curses one by one, starting from the farthest grandparent.

She took a trip to her village and faithfully did so: systematically moving down a lengthy family tree and breaking the curses brought about by any sin of her forefathers. Her situation never changed.

Child of God, the word ‘generation’ comes from the Latin word “generare” meaning to beget. The Greek word “genos” means kindred, family, stock or tribe. You are begotten of God; you are of the God generation.

The Bible says that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, THE OLD IS PASSED [Any attachment to old generations is passed] and the new is come and ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). It says: ‘of his own will begat he us with the word of truth that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures (James 1:18).

Saints, this means you have God’s DNA. That family tree of your father and mother and the consequences of their actions are not your portion; you are free from generational curses. But instead, your portion is generational blessings.

FURTHER STUDY:1 Peter 2:9, John 1:12

GOLDEN NUGGET: You have God’s DNA. You are free from generational curses. Your portion is generational blessings.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this great and wonderful word. I have your DNA; your life is in me, it is flowing through my veins, my body, my heart and in my bones. It works in everything around me. I live in the freedom of one that has been set free indeed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Doctrine Of Repentance: By His Blood Alone

The Doctrine Of Repentance: By His Blood Alone

Apostle Grace Lubega

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22)

Repentance is not about telling God how sorry you are for something you have or might have done. The Greek word metanoeo for repent means changing one’s mind.

Being sorry does not purchase eternal justification or forgiveness. Some Christians still think that when they go to God and say: ‘I am sorry I did this…I am sorry I did that…’ then God forgives them. No!

Our theme scripture says that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission. Aphesis, the Greek word for remission, means forgiveness or pardon of sins. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they did not run to God and say sorry. In fact, they were on the defensive. But blood was shed to cloth them. This was the very first act of grace we see by the scriptures.

The blood that bought our forgiveness was shed once. The Bible says it purchased our eternal salvation (Hebrews 5:9) and saved us to the uttermost [entirely, completely, perfectly] (Hebrews 7:25).

Now, understand that this does not mean that a Christian should never be regretful when he makes a mistake. But, when he is sorry and regretful without the understanding of the blood that purged and purified him, the Bible calls that ungodly sorrow; and that, it does not lead to true repentance (2 Corinthians 7:9-10).

Ungodly sorrow removes the power of the blood of Christ and replaces it with the level of one’s brokenness and sense of guilt to win forgiveness from God.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 26:28, Romans 3:25

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Ungodly sorrow removes the power of the blood of Christ and replaces it with the level of one’s brokenness and sense of guilt to win forgiveness from God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your mercies that overflow over me every morning. I thank you for the cross and the sacrifice of Calvary that bought my eternal salvation. Your blood purged me as white as snow. I am perfect, spotless and blameless in your sight. I walk in this understanding every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Walking in the Spirit: Wisdom and Judgment

Walking in the Spirit: Wisdom and Judgment

Apostle Grace Lubega

If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit (Galatians 5:25)

The Bible says that now that we live in the spirit, walk also in the spirit. Functioning in the world of spirits requires an activation of all our spiritual senses. That is the place God has called us to.

Commonly, what many people have been exposed to is sight and hearing. But in that world, you can taste, touch, smell, feel, hear, and see. Nothing effects the anointing like a man relating with God by his spiritual senses.

However, if your spiritual senses are active yet you cannot reconcile the same activities with your intellect, you fall short of judgment.

The judgments of God are revealed when one applies their intellect to decode spiritual senses and when the two are reconciled, divine purpose is served.

There are people whose senses are active spiritually but they do not exercise wisdom. For example, he might see in the spirit that a man is cheating on his wife and then declare it publicly or see that one is struggling with a perverse weakness and say it out loud for all to hear. He might see that one is struggling with witchcraft at the hand of an auntie then reveal who the auntie is and break up a family.

As a pastor, you might receive a message from God but if your congregation is not spiritually stable or mature enough to take it, wisdom should teach you to reserve it for a time appointed.

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 1:10, Proverbs 4:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The judgments of God are revealed when one applies their intellect to decode spiritual senses, when the two are reconciled, divine purpose is served.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for this great word. It works mightily in me to exercise wisdom even as I walk in the spirit. By this, I can never stumble men by my experiences. My experiences are for the edification of the church. This maturity qualifies me to walk in even deeper places in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Sound of Worship

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth and such as are in the sea and all that are in them heard I saying, ‘Blessing and honour and glory and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb forever and ever (Revelation 5:13)

Worship is not about voices; it is about sound in the spirit. That is what makes the distinction between a singer and a worshipper. Your sound in the spirit is what distinguishes you.

When a man worships purely by voice and not sound, they will not be heard in the spirit. They can be loud on the earth yet silent in the spirit.

It is important for the worshipper to seek a place of clarity in spirit regardless of silence in the physical realm. In such a place, you minister to multitudes even outside the circumference of the people you can see physically.

Our theme scripture reveals that John worshipped and he was heard by every creature in heaven, earth, under the earth and in the sea. Romans 10:18 speaks of an experience where the sound of certain men went into all the earth and their words unto the end of the world.

The true sound of worship calls for the amplification of sound outside the boundaries of what we behold physically. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 4:23-24, Revelation 5:14

GOLDEN NUGGET:
It is important for the worshipper to seek a place of clarity in spirit regardless of silence in the physical realm. In such a place, you minister to multitudes even outside the circumference of the people you can see physically.

PRAYER: God I thank You for Your word, it launches me into a deeper realm of worship. In this mind and understanding, I minister to multitudes. My sound goes out to every creature on the earth, to heal, to deliver, to set free, to cause principalities to bow, to break chains, to restore, to rejuvenate, to resuscitate, to make a way where there is no way, to bring hope where there is no hope, to cause deserts to blossom. To the glory of your name. Amen!

ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Jean 4:23-24, Apocalypse 5:14

PEPITE D’OR :

Amen !

Lessons In Virtue: Nakedness

Lessons In Virtue: Nakedness

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife and were not ashamed (Genesis 2:24-25)

The oneness of flesh that follows a man leaving his father and mother to join his wife appoints a kind of ‘nakedness’. It means that you do not get into marriage with your guard up and with walls several storeys high around your heart.

There are many people who have gotten into marriage with this attitude and it broke them and their marriages.

It is common practice for a man to be secretive about his life, his finances or his past and the same is with women. There is no ‘nakedness’ in these marriages but secret after secret because of the absence of trust. This ought not to be so. Secrets can destroy marriages.

Every married couple should know that it is maturity to own the weakness (past or present) of your spouse and stand with them through it. Believe in your spouse, don’t judge them, pray for them. You were not called to change them, they are God’s business to fix, after all, He is the God of all flesh.

There is a kind of nakedness that caused Adam and Eve to hide from the sight of God because they were ashamed (Genesis 3:10). However, this particular nakedness in our theme scripture that is explained in the context of husband and wife ought not to bring shame for they were naked and not ashamed. It is the true foundation of trust and love. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 5:22, Proverbs 31:11-12

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Every married couple should know that it is maturity to own the weakness (past or present) of your spouse and standing with them through it. Believe in your spouse, don’t judge them, pray for them. You were not called to change them, they are God’s business to fix, after all, He is the God of all flesh.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom; it works in my marriage to build it into one of trust and genuine love. The heart of my spouse safely trusts in me and he or she has no need of spoil. I can never take secrets entrusted to me and use them to destroy. My marriage is founded on love and mutual respect. It will always stand on this foundation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lecons En Vertu : La Nudite

PEPITE D’OR :
Amen.

Apostle Grace Lubega

And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb but Rachel was barren (Genesis 29:31)

Rachel had good reason to resent and dislike her sister. After all, she was meant to be Jacob’s only wife but her sister was forced into the picture.

But our theme scripture is clear:God opened Leah’s womb not for any other reason but that she was hated. Not because she prayed too much, not because she fasted for children but simply because she was hated.

In fact, Rachel’s first child, Dan, was not the fruit of her womb. When her maid had a child, she said, ‘God has judged me and has also heard my voice and given me a son’ (Genesis 30:6). But that was not necessarily true because she was still barren.

Why does the judgment of God take this pattern? Regardless of the down turn of your marriage, never let hate dictate your attitude. There are couples that have allowed hate to destroy and consume them; for example, they hate their step children.

The greatest test for any man or woman is to love step children. It is a hard place for anyone to be in.

But there is a reason why mistreated step children often succeed more than some biological children: It is the judgments of God opening wombs in the face of hatred.

This does not in any way mean that it is okay for a spouse to have children outside marriage or have another partner. That is ungodly and extremely wrong but if you are in that unfortunate state, never let spite and hate consume you.

If you do, it will destroy you and will destroy what is left of your marriage. You will be ‘barren’ because nothing grows in the ground of hate but many things blossom in the ground of love.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 13:8, Hebrews 12:15

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Regardless of the down turn of your marriage, never let hate dictate your attitude. If you do, it will destroy you and will destroy your marriage. You will be barren because nothing grows in the ground of hate but many things blossom in the ground of love.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for my marriage; it is blessed, it is the testimony of trust, love and honour. Hate can never be the attitude I adopt to any challenges. I choose love because it never fails and always prevails. I thank You that by this wisdom, my marriage shall never fail. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lecons En Vertu : Le Jugement De Dieu

PEPITE D’OR :
Amen.

The Seal of God

The Seal of God

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity (2 Timothy 2:19).

Revelation 7:1-8 gives an account of the sealing of the children of Israel. These are named as Judah, Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nephtalim, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zabulon, Joseph and Benjamin. However, when you study Genesis, you realize that Manasseh was a grandson of Israel and not necessarily a son.

In the sealing explained in revelation, Dan, a son of Israel is replaced by Manasseh. Why was this so?

The Hebrew name for Dan is translated to mean a judge. When Israel is blessing his children, he says of Dan, ‘he is a serpent by the way, an adder in the path that bites the horse’ (Genesis 49:17). Manasseh on the other hand means forgetting.

This means that judgment is forgotten in the sealing of those that are of God.

Our theme scripture explains this seal; God knows them that are His.

There are men who know God and there are men who are known of God. When a man is known of God and bears His seal, that man is beyond any man’s judgment.

There are men in this world that no one has the authority to judge. That is why Paul says: he that is spiritual, judges all things yet he himself is judged of no man (1 Corinthians 2:15). He also says:, ‘with me, it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you or of any man’s judgment (1 Corinthians 4:3).

The primary distinction of a man sealed by God is that he is not subject to the judgments of men. Such a man knows nothing of himself (1 Corinthians 4:4). To judge him is to judge God.

FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 30:6, Genesis 49

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The primary distinction of a man sealed by God is that he is not subject to the judgments of men. To judge him is to judge God.

PRAYER:  Father, I am grateful for Your Word. I know You and I am known of You. I carry the seal of God, the distinctive mark of a man anointed by God. I know nothing of myself. You have consumed my reality and everything about me. I ceased and now You are. I walk in this understanding and glory every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PEPITE D’OR :

Amen.
