The gospel has to be ministered and received from a 360 degree perspective.

There are Christians whose excitement with the Word only comes from sermons that promise change in their marriages, increase in their businesses or advancement in their careers.

If the message preached does not touch their needs, some Christians mentally switch off and feel somehow cheated by the preacher.

That is the wrong attitude towards the Word of God.

ALL SCRIPTURE is profitable. Even that which rebukes you for having a terrible attitude towards life and people is geared towards your profit.

The greatest of rebukes that cut you to the core, when ministered in love, are for your profit. You cannot take one part and reject the other.

The same joy with which you receive the liberties of the gospel is the same joy with which you ought to receive the reproof of the scriptures.

2 Timothée 3:16‭-‬17 (NBS); Toute Ecriture est inspirée de Dieu et utile pour enseigner, pour réfuter, pour redresser, pour éduquer dans la justice, afin que l’homme de Dieu soit à la hauteur, parfaitement équipé pour toute œuvre bonne.

L’évangile doit être administré et reçu dans une perspective à 360 degrés.

Il y a des chrétiens dont l’enthousiasme pour la Parole ne vient que de sermons qui promettent un changement dans leur mariage, une augmentation de leurs affaires ou une progression dans leur carrière.

Si le message prêché ne répond pas à leurs besoins, certains chrétiens s’éteignent mentalement et se sentent en quelque sorte trompés par le prédicateur.

C’est la mauvaise attitude envers la Parole de Dieu.

TOUTE ÉCRITURE est profitable. Même ce qui vous reproche d’avoir une attitude terrible envers la vie et les gens est orienté vers votre profit.

Les plus grands reproches qui vous blessent jusqu’au cœur, lorsqu’ils sont administrés avec amour, sont à votre profit. Vous ne pouvez pas accepter une partie et rejeter l’autre.

La même joie avec laquelle vous recevez les libertés de l’Évangile est la même joie avec laquelle vous devriez recevoir la réprimande des Écritures.

2 Timotheüs 3:16-17 (Statenvertaling);  Al de Schrift is van God ingegeven, en is nuttig tot lering, tot wederlegging, tot verbetering, tot onderwijzing, die in de rechtvaardigheid is; Opdat de mens Gods volmaakt zij, tot alle goed werk volmaaktelijk toegerust.

Het evangelie moet worden bediend en ontvangen vanuit een 360 graden perspectief.

Er zijn christenen wier opwinding over het Woord alleen voortkomt uit preken die verandering in hun huwelijk, groei in hun bedrijf of vooruitgang in hun carrière beloven.

Als de gepredikte boodschap hun behoeften niet raakt, schakelen sommige christenen mentaal uit en voelen zich op de een of andere manier bedrogen door de predikant.

Dat is de verkeerde houding tegenover het Woord van God.

ALLE SCHRIFT is profijtelijk. Zelfs datgene wat je berispt voor het hebben van een vreselijke houding ten opzichte van het leven en de mensen, is gericht op jouw winst.

De grootste berispingen die u tot op het bot snijden, zijn, wanneer ze in liefde worden gegeven, voor uw voordeel. Je kunt niet het ene deel nemen en het andere afwijzen.

Dezelfde vreugde waarmee u de vrijheden van het evangelie ontvangt, is dezelfde vreugde waarmee u de bestraffing van de Schriften behoort te ontvangen.

HET GOUDKLOMPJE: Dezelfde vreugde waarmee u de vrijheden van het evangelie ontvangt, is dezelfde vreugde waarmee u de bestraffing van de Schriften behoort te ontvangen.

GEBED: Mijn grote Vader, ik dank U voor dit woord. Dank U voor het onschatbare geschenk van de Schriften, doorgegeven voor mijn instructie op de paden van het leven en rechtschapenheid.
