Apostle Grace Lubega
James 4:6(KJV); But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Pride can hide in the heart of a man even when that man assumes he is very humble.
What is pride?
It is the consciousness of one’s self. It takes many forms but is most evident in how we pray.
Many people’s prayers are preoccupied with what they need; what they must achieve in life and how they must acquire more material possessions.
To many, prayer is all about them.
Such selfishness is the reason many people struggle to hear the voice of God.
If you learn to live selflessly, you will hear Him more.
Our primary place of consecration is that God helps our hearts; that He teaches us to live beyond ourselves.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Our primary place of consecration is that God helps our hearts; that He teaches us to live beyond ourselves.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for humbling me every day. Search my heart and deal with any manner of pride. As you break and bend me, You launch me into deeper visions of who You are, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
