Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Chronicles 14:11 (KJV); And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.
When men fight you, they fight God.
This was the spirit in which King Asa said, ‘let no man prevail against thee.’ He knew that any army, force and enemy that set itself against him was actually pitting itself against God Himself.
This truth is repeated in the New Testament in Saul’s encounter on the road to Damascus.
The Bible says in Acts 9:4, “And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”
When the Lord appeared to Saul, He did not ask, “why are you persecuting Christians?” He asked why Paul was persecuting Him.
God has put the enemy on notice that when they touch you, they touch Him. When they slander you, they slander Him. When they plot against you, they plot against Him!
Rest in the blessed assurance that You are not alone. The battle is His. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: When men fight you, they fight God. God has put the enemy on notice that when they touch you, they touch Him. When they slander you, they slander Him. When they plot against you, they plot against Him!
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You because You fight my battles and are the source of all my victories. I am a man of rest because I know who is in me and for me. This is the wisdom by which I overcome, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
