Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 23:4-5 (AMP); Do not weary yourself [with the overwhelming desire] to gain wealth; Cease from your own understanding of it. When you set your eyes on wealth, it is [suddenly] gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings. Like an eagle that flies to the heavens.
One of the most important aspects of increase is the wisdom in how we respond to it when it comes.
It is extremely frustrating for any man to decrease in the time when promotion and increased success come his way. Yet scripture tells us that when you set your eyes on wealth, it is suddenly gone.
Indeed, the Lord has blessed you. Your business may be expanding; your ministry may be growing exponentially or your career may be skyrocketing.
The question is, how are you responding to all of this?
Is it an avenue for you to exalt yourself above your friends, family and acquaintances because you have more? Has God taken second, third or fourth place in your priorities because you are too busy holding on to what has come your way?
We set our eyes on wealth by the amount of time and attention we give to it as opposed to the time and attention we give to God. When men do that, wealth certainly makes itself wings like an eagle and flies to the heavens.
When increase comes, celebrate what God is doing and honour Him. Do not set your eyes on wealth and riches. In fact, make it your life’s mantra that regardless of how blessed you are, God will always be the priority.

GOLDEN NUGGET: When increase comes, celebrate what God is doing and honour Him. Do not set your eyes on wealth and riches. In fact, make it your life’s mantra that regardless of how blessed you are, God will always be the priority.
PRAYER: Loving God, I thank You for Your grace. It attracts favour and greater blessings into my life. I thank You because the more increase You bestow upon me, the more I yield my life to You because You will always be my number one. Nothing can ever take Your place. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
