Ephesians 5:27 (KJV) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

One day, I asked a group of Pastors that were criticizing the grace message whether they were absolutely sure that if Jesus returned at that very moment, they would make it to heaven. None of them could respond.

The reason they could not immediately answer the question is because they were conscious of not being without spot or wrinkle. Why was this so? It is because it is impossible for any man by his own power to make himself spotless or without wrinkle. By the works of the law, no flesh can be justified (Romans 3:20).

It is only by the free gift of imputed righteousness (Romans 4:22) that we are made without spot or wrinkle.

The glory of the Church that the Christ will carry as His bride is birthed out of its being perfected in the understanding of imputed righteousness. Hallelujah!

It is only by the free gift of imputed righteousness that we are made without spot or wrinkle.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the gift of righteousness. I know that in your eyes, I am perfect, blameless and holy. I walk in the revelation that I am without spot or wrinkle because of the redeeming work of Christ at Calvary and the divine nature that I received by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

POURQUOI NOUS PRECHONS LA GRACE : SANS TACHE NI RIDES

Ephésiens 5:27 (KJV) Car il voulait se donner lui-même une Eglise rayonnante, sans ride ni tache ou défaut : il la voulait sainte et sans reproche.

Un jour, j’ai demandé à un groupe de pasteurs qui critiquaient le message de la grâce s’ils étaient absolument sûrs que si Jésus revenait en ce moment même, ils arriveraient au paradis. Aucun d’entre eux ne pouvait répondre.

La raison pour laquelle ils ne pouvaient pas répondre immédiatement à la question, c’est parce qu’ils étaient conscients de ne pas être sans tache ni rides. Pourquoi était-ce ainsi ? C’est parce qu’il est impossible pour un homme de son propre pouvoir de se faire sans encombre ou sans rides. Par les œuvres de la loi, aucune chair ne peut être justifiée (Romains 3:20).

Ce n’est que par le don gratuit de la justice imputée (Romains 4:22) que nous sommes faits sans tache ni rides.

La gloire de l’Église que le Christ portera en tant que Sa femme est issue de son perfectionnement dans la compréhension de la justice imputée. Alléluia !
