The Assurance To The Faithful

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 16:10(KJV); He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Replacements in the realm of the spirit happen because sometimes, people abuse spiritual timelines.

If you are serving under a ministry in any capacity, God wants to grow you even in that responsibility. He wants to trust you with more for the sake of His Kingdom.

When He says in His Word that he that is faithful in what is least is faithful in much, do not ignore the time component between the moment when a person is trusted with little and the moment when they are trusted with much. The demand for faithfulness in that role has a timeline.

Some Christians assume they can eternally meander in the maze of mediocrity pertaining to the things of God and get away with it, much like a bored public servant who won’t care less because of permanent tenure in his job. The kingdom of God is much more serious than that.

If within the timeline you are appointed to serve in a certain capacity, you are lax with your duties or turn your office into a lofty throne room from which you run your little kingdom and terrorise everyone else, God will replace you.

When the winds of purpose blow, they do not merely blow to position men, they also blow to displace the indifferent.

Be diligent with what you have been trusted with. Give yourself wholly to it in the knowledge that you are serving the Almighty God.

If service demands proactivity, be proactive. If service demands stretching your limits, stretch yourself in the knowledge that the grace is available. Serve God with all your heart because He rewards faithfulness.

Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Be diligent with what you have been trusted with. Give yourself wholly to it in the knowledge that you are serving the Almighty God. If service demands proactivity, be proactive. If service demands stretching your limits, stretch yourself in the knowledge that the grace is available. Serve God with all your heart because He rewards faithfulness.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve You. What an honour! What a privilege. Like the apostle Paul says, I choose to serve with my very spirit and to spend and be spent for the sake of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
