Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 19:12 (KJV); For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
A man becomes great in three ways. The first is by virtue of an innate grace or talent at work in him. This is the one our theme scripture refers to as a eunuch so born from his mother’s womb.
The second way is by lessons learnt from associating with a greater man in the same craft. Our theme scripture refers to such a man as a eunuch made by men.
The third is by that man training and exercising himself in the principles that make him a master in his craft. This is the one the Bible calls a eunuch who makes himself so.
As a child of God who seeks to attain mastery in any area of your life, you must understand that all three aspects of the making of eunuchs are interdependent.
No man becomes great by innate ability alone. Many talented men have gone down to the grave full of unfulfilled potential. You need to learn from greater men too because God has not designed any human being not to need anyone. We were created as an INTERDEPENDENT and not independent species.
On the other hand, no man becomes great by only imitating the patterns of a master without consecration and self-discipline.
As much as possible, associate with those greater than you but remember that individual responsibility is absolutely important. There is a part for you to play, in disciplining your flesh and taming your desires and appetites.
As a student of mastery, understand all three facets: appreciate the graces God has given you, identify whom to learn from and take responsibility for your personal growth.

GOLDEN NUGGET: No man becomes great by innate ability alone. Many talented men have gone down to the grave full of unfulfilled potential. You need to learn from greater men too because God has not designed any human being not to need anyone. We were created as an INTERDEPENDENT and not independent species.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom. As a faithful student, I receive and embrace it as the reality of my life. I am sharpened in the way of mastery and perfected in the paths of greatness, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
