The Miraculous Faculty

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 1:11 (KJV): For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

In our theme scripture, the word used for “gift” is charisma, which among other things, is translated to mean, a “miraculous faculty”.

Paul sought to impart in the church a faculty and not just the product of the faculty. He sought to impart a miraculous faculty rather than to simply perform miracles amidst them; to show them how to fish rather than give them fish; to make them suppliers of spiritual things rather than just receivers of them.

Saints, it is maturity to place a demand on the faculty as opposed to just what the faculty can do.

So, child of God, don’t just ask for a job, get something that causes jobs to look for you. Don’t ask for fish, ask for how to fish. Don’t ask for healing, ask for what makes you heal. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Child of God, don’t ask for a job, get something that causes jobs to look for you. Don’t ask for fish, ask for how to fish. Don’t ask for healing, ask for what makes you heal.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this day. Thank you for your instruction on how to pray and the things that define how I must seek you. Today, I choose to place a demand on the things that make men; the things that distinguish us in substance. To the glory of your name. Amen.
