Truth has a price.
When the Bible says ‘buy the truth’, it means that it is not free.
However, the price of truth is not monetary. It is not quantifiable in human currencies or the weight of Gold.
The price of truth is the spirit of sacrifice.
Paul casts light on this in Philippians 3:8 when he says, “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ…”
How much are you willing to give up in order to know God more?
Are you ready to leave your comfort zone and go to places the Lord sends you in your quest for truth?
Are you willing to serve difficult and complicated people because that is what God instructed you to do for the sake of your growth in the knowledge of Him?
Can you lose your social status and close friends because God’s Word makes you cast down all your crowns?
Truth will cost you everything. The question you must answer is whether you are ready to bleed and die to yourself on the altars of sacrifice.

Kweli ina gharama.
Biblia inaposema ‘nunua kweli’ ina maana kwamba si bure.
Walakini, bei ya kweli sio pesa. Haiwezekani kuhesabiwa katika sarafu za wanadamu au kwa uzito wa dhahabu.
Gharama ya kweli ni roho ya dhabihu.

Je, uko tayari kuwatumikia watu wagumu na wenye tabia tatanishi kwa sababu ndivyo Mungu alivyokuagiza ufanye kwa ajili ya kukua kwako katika kumjua yeye?
Je, unaweza kupoteza hadhi yako ya kijamii na marafiki wa karibu kwa sababu Neno la Mungu linakufanya utupe chini mataji yako yote?
Kweli itakugharimu kila kitu. Swali unalopaswa kujibu ni je uko tayari kumwaga damu na kujifia mwenyewe kwenye madhabahu za sadaka.

Proverbes 23:23 (FRDBY); Achète la vérité, et ne la vends point, -la sagesse, et l’instruction, et l’intelligence.
La vérité a un prix.
Lorsque la Bible dit « achete la vérité », cela signifie qu’elle n’est pas gratuite.
Toutefois, le prix de la vérité n’est pas monétaire. Ce n’est pas quantifiable en monnaie humaine ou en poids de Dieu.
Le prix de la vérité est l’esprit de sacrifice.
Paul met cela en lumière dans Philippiens 3:8 lorsqu’il dit : « En fait, je considère tout comme une perte à cause de la supériorité de la connaissance de Jésus-Christ, mon Seigneur. A cause de lui, j’ai accepté de tout perdre, et je considère tout comme des ordures, afin de gagner le Christ…”
Dans quelle mesure êtes-vous prêt à abandonner pour mieux connaître Dieu ?
Êtes-vous prêt à quitter votre zone de confort et à aller là où le Seigneur vous envoie dans votre quête de vérité ?
Êtes-vous prêt à servir des personnes difficiles et compliquées parce que c’est ce que Dieu vous a demandé de faire pour le bien de votre croissance dans sa connaissance ?
Pouvez-vous perdre votre statut social et vos amis proches parce que la Parole de Dieu vous fait jeter toutes vos couronnes ?
La vérité vous coûtera tout. La question à laquelle vous devez répondre est de savoir si vous êtes prêts à saigner et à mourir sur les autels du sacrifice.

PRIÈRE: Mon Père, je te remercie pour cette parole. Je suis un chercheur et un amoureux de Ta vérité. Il n’y a rien que je ne ferai pas pour m’enfoncer plus profondément en Toi. Je refuse de m’accrocher à tout ce qui m’empêche de te connaître davantage. Comme Paul, je considère tout sauf du fumier pour l’excellence de la connaissance du Christ, au nom de Jésus, Amen.
