Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 9:10(NIV); Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
The Bible reveals to us that it is God who gives seed to the sower and bread for food.
What this means is that any child of God should be able to identify what the Lord defines as seed and what He has defined as bread.
Many who do not know this treat everything they receive from God as bread and as such end up eating even that which is seed.
There are different ways to identify what God has marked as seed.
One of them is that most often than not, what is not enough to meet the need that you seek is actually a seed.
This was the experience of the widow at Zarephath in 1 Kings 17:7-16. What she had left was a seed in the eyes of the Lord and she was preparing herself to eat it and die. But when she gave it as instructed, she received more than she could even contain.
May this wisdom work in you, in how you give to God.
