Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 62:10 (KJV): “Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.”
—
In our theme scripture, God speaks in a way that reveals His heart for His people. He is not preparing the believer for a life of continual want, but teaching him how to conduct himself when increase comes. In other words, the expectation in the mind of God is that riches will increase.
This is the consciousness that should govern the child of God—not one of shortage or survival, but of supply, increase, and abundance. Heaven does not train you to expect lack as your portion; it teaches you to carry increase with wisdom.
Do not shape your thinking around loss or build your expectations on insufficiency. Let the language of Scripture form your heart. If God says, “if riches increase,” then learn to think like one whom heaven has prepared for abundance.
The Lord is preparing you to steward increase. He is teaching you to hold abundance while keeping your heart surrendered to Him.
This is kingdom wisdom: to expect increase without being ruled by it, to receive riches without placing your trust in them, and to prosper outwardly while remaining inwardly anchored in the Lord.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: This is kingdom wisdom: to expect increase without being ruled by it, to receive riches without placing your trust in them, and to prosper outwardly while remaining inwardly anchored in the Lord.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for teaching me Your language of abundance. I refuse every mindset of fear, lack, and insufficiency. I receive Your wisdom to walk in increase with humility and stewardship. As riches increase, my heart remains fully anchored in You. My confidence never rests in wealth, but in You alone, my source and my portion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
