Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 23:26 (KJV): “My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.”

It is possible to receive a genuine vision of God, or a true experience with Him, and yet later come into a greater unfolding of that same revelation.
What does this mean?
When God gives a person spiritual insight, that revelation is true, trustworthy, and suited to His purpose for that time. In His wisdom, God unveils His purposes progressively, dealing with men according to His divine order and the dispensation in which they stand.
Consider Moses. He was instructed to build the tabernacle according to the pattern he had seen in heaven (Exodus 25:40). Moses obeyed faithfully, and God honored that tabernacle with His presence.
Later, Paul declares that “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands” (Acts 17:24). Still further, John the Revelator shows us that in the heavenly city there is no temple at all, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple (Revelation 21:22).
Does this mean Moses had a wrong vision? Not at all. What Moses received was true, holy, and perfectly aligned with God’s purpose for his time. But as God’s redemptive plan unfolded, He revealed more of the fullness of His eternal thought. The issue, then, is not error in Moses, but progression in revelation according to divine purpose.
This is where our theme Scripture becomes especially important. A surrendered heart does not weaponize one stage of revelation against another. It understands that God spoke truly through Moses, and also unveiled further light through Paul. Therefore, it would be wrong for the followers of Paul to fight those of Moses as though God had contradicted Himself.
Wisdom requires that we discern the dispensational flow of God’s revelation, honoring what He gave in its time while embracing what He has made clearer in Christ. A yielded heart sees rightly because it discerns God’s ways within their proper dispensation, rather than isolating one expression of truth from the larger unfolding of His purpose.

GOLDEN NUGGET: A yielded heart sees rightly because it discerns God’s ways within their proper dispensation, rather than isolating one expression of truth from the larger unfolding of His purpose.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the truths You open my eyes to. I know that there is always more and deeper in You. I yield to You more than ever before. I give myself to You from my very core, Lord. As I do, I see more than I have ever seen, hear more than I have ever heard, and touch more than I have ever touched. In Jesus’ name, amen.
