Apostle Grace Lubega
Genesis 3:6 (NKJV): “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.”

The Bible reveals that every tree God made in the garden was already pleasant to the eye and good for food. Genesis 2:9 explains, “And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
However, when the devil was deceiving Eve, he introduced a perspective that God had not mentioned. He opened her eyes to the idea that the tree was not only good for food and pleasant to the eyes, but also desirable to make one wise.
It was this specific vision, an invitation to wisdom, that led to the fall of man.
This temptation did not end in Eden. Even today, the enemy still attempts to open the eyes of men to certain “wisdoms.” The Bible in James 3:15 categorizes this as a wisdom that does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
In these times, where the realities of the spirit realm are daily being unveiled and portals have been opened to allow us access to divine liberties, a higher level of discernment is required. Why? Because there are ideas and strategies that present themselves in the form of wisdom but are not inspired by God. There are “cunning” paths that seem enlightened but are rooted in the wisdom of devils.
You must be able to tell the difference. Godly wisdom is pure, peaceable, and leads to life; demonic wisdom is rooted in independence from God and leads to destruction.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Godly wisdom is pure, peaceable, and leads to life; demonic wisdom is rooted in independence from God and leads to destruction.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Spirit who leads me into all truth. I receive a heightened sense of discernment. My eyes are open to see beyond the surface and my heart is quick to perceive the source of every instruction. I am led by the pure wisdom of God that builds and preserves. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
