Ecclesiastes 2:26 (NKJV): “For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God.”

One of the most fundamental truths in the economy of God is that the wealth of the unjust is laid up for the righteous. This is why you should never admire a sinner simply because he has money. There are men who labour, gather, collect, build, and accumulate, yet the divine intent is that what they gather will eventually be transferred to those who are good before God.
However, this transfer is not without principles. One of these principles is remembering the poor. The Bible says in Proverbs 19:17, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given.”
When you help the poor, you are not merely giving to a man. You are lending to God. And God does not borrow without repaying. He pays back, and He pays with divine interest.
Proverbs 28:27 says, “He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.”
The giver to the poor is protected from lack. This is a spiritual law. When your heart is open to the needy, the hand of God remains open toward you.
There are wicked men with money, but no grace to use it for divine purpose. There are men who desire to waste wealth on immoral pursuits, selfish pleasures, and vanity. But God can remove resources from such a man and place them in the hands of a believer whose heart is genuinely invested in His purposes. Remember the poor because that is where God’s heart is.

I declare that resources are coming into my hands for the gospel and for the advancement of Your kingdom. I receive the grace to be a faithful steward of wealth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prediker 2:26 (HSV): “Want Hij geeft wijsheid, kennis en blijdschap aan de mens die goed is voor Zijn aangezicht. Aan de zondaar echter geeft Hij de bezigheid om te verzamelen en te vergaren, om het te geven aan wie goed is voor Gods aangezicht. Ook dat is vluchtig en najagen van wind.”

Een van de meest fundamentele waarheden in Gods economie is dat de rijkdom van de onrechtvaardigen wordt bewaard voor de rechtvaardigen. Daarom moet je een zondaar nooit bewonderen, simpelweg omdat hij geld heeft. Er zijn mensen die werken, verzamelen, inzamelen, bouwen en accumuleren, maar Gods bedoeling is dat wat zij verzamelen uiteindelijk wordt overgedragen aan hen die goed zijn voor God.
Deze overdracht is echter niet zonder principes. Een van deze principes is de armen helpen. De Bijbel zegt in Spreuken 19:17: “Wie medelijden heeft met de armen, leent aan de HEER, en Hij zal hem terugbetalen wat hij gegeven heeft.”
Wanneer je de armen helpt, geef je niet zomaar aan een mens. Je leent aan God. En God leent niet zonder terug te betalen. Hij betaalt terug, en Hij betaalt terug met goddelijke rente.
Spreuken 28:27 zegt: “Wie aan de armen geeft, zal geen gebrek lijden, maar wie zijn ogen sluit, zal vele vloeken over zich afroepen.”
De gever aan de armen wordt beschermd tegen gebrek. Dit is een geestelijke wet. Wanneer je hart openstaat voor de behoeftigen, blijft Gods hand ook voor jou openstaan.
Er zijn goddeloze mensen met geld, maar zonder de genade om het voor Gods doel te gebruiken. Er zijn mensen die hun rijkdom willen verkwisten aan immorele bezigheden, egoïstische genoegens en ijdelheid. Maar God kan de middelen van zo’n mens wegnemen en ze in de handen leggen van een gelovige wiens hart oprecht gericht is op Zijn doelen. Denk aan de armen, want daar is Gods hart.

HET GOUDKLOMPJE: God kan de rijkdom van een goddeloze wegnemen en in de handen leggen van een gelovige wiens hart oprecht gericht is op Zijn plannen. Denk aan de armen, want daar is Gods hart.
GEBED: Vader, ik dank U voor deze wijsheid. Ik weet dat de rijkdom van de zondaar is weggelegd voor de rechtvaardigen, en ik richt mijn hart naar Uw principes. U schenkt mij oprecht mededogen voor de armen, de behoeftigen, de hongerigen, de weduwen, de wezen en de verdrukten. U leert mij rijkdom te gebruiken voor een goddelijk doel. Ik verklaar dat er middelen in mijn handen komen voor het evangelie en voor de uitbreiding van Uw koninkrijk. Ik ontvang de genade om een trouwe rentmeester van rijkdom te zijn, in Jezus’ naam. Amen.
