Exodus 12:3(KJV); Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
God can change the destiny of an entire family through one person.
Our theme scripture illustrates His mind on this. When He gave instructions to the children of Israel about the passover lamb, He said, “a lamb for an house.”
It is the blood of this one lamb that was smeared on the door post of each home and saved their firstborns from death(Exodus 12:12-13).
This same mind is demonstrated throughout the scriptures. Take the example of Noah. Noah was a righteous man in the eyes of God. However, the Bible does not tell us that his family felt the same devotion toward God. Nonetheless, they were saved along with him. One man kept the entire family from the ravages of the flood(Genesis 7:1).
How about Rahab? Her family did not play any recognisable part in hiding the Israelite spies. However, by her one act of divine courage, they were all saved from the sword(Joshua 2:1-21).
It is no mistake that you as a child of God are Born Again; it is no mistake that in your family, it is you with an enduring devotion to the Lord. Your relationship with God is not merely a moral high ground for you to stand on, it is the opportunity that makes you a co-labourer with God for your family’s harvest (Matthew 9:37-38).
God wants to change the destiny of your entire family through you, that salvation will reign; that cycles of poverty, demonic oppression and sickness will cease; that a new story will be written about the people of your house; that your household will be called great because you believed God to change the script for your people.
You are pioneering a new age of greatness. Take nothing for granted because heaven is counting on you for the sake of your brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, in-laws and the entire extended household. Seek God and give yourself to His Word in this consciousness.

As you invade every corner of my household, I thank You because affliction is a distant memory, that love, peace and joy consumes them and that they bow to the name of the Lord.
