2 Timothy 2:13 (KJV); If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
The law of faith is built on the integrity of God pertaining to His Word.
This integrity is defined in our theme scripture. The Amplified version of the Bible says, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.”
In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God (John 1:1). God and His Word are inseparable. What He says is who He is. To believe in His Word is to unquestioningly believe Him as a person.
Sometimes, men subject the power of the Word to their personal experiences. They once prayed for a sick relative or close friend but the person died and as such they entirely disregarded the promise of God to heal disease. There are those who once desperately needed a financial breakthrough and prayed for God’s intervention but nothing happened. They have since written off divine providence as a fallacy of the deluded.
Did the death of that person diminish the healing power of God? No. Did the worsening of that financial situation shorten His saving hand? No. Did the downward turn of your situation make a liar of Him? Of course not.
Understand this, a man’s unbelief can never shake the truthfulness of the Word. God remains true to it in every circumstance.
This integrity is what gives faith its life force. Because we know that God is true to His Word, we live our lives with utmost confidence that what He said He is also able to perform. When things are not working as they ought, we instead ask ourselves (in humility), what we might be missing and have not yet understood about God and His character. We do not conclude that healing, miracles or God’s provision are a lie.
God keeps His Word. This is the foundation on which we base our faith.

神的话语完整性
信仰的律法是建立在神的话的完整性之上的。
这种完整性是在我们的主题圣经中定义的。圣经的放大版说,“我们纵然失信,他仍是可信的(遵守他的话语和公义的性情),因为他不能背乎自己。”
太初有 道,道与神同在,道就是神 (约翰福音 1:1)。神和他的话语是不可分割的。他说什么就是他自己。相信他的话,就是毫无疑问地相信他这个人。
有时,男人会将这个词的力量受制于他们的个人经历。他们曾经为一个生病的亲戚或亲密的朋友祈祷,但那个人死了,因此他们完全无视神治愈疾病的承诺。有些人曾经迫切需要经济上的突破,祈求神的干预,但什么也没有发生。从那时起,他们就把神的旨意当作受骗者的谬论。
那个人的死是否削弱了神的治愈能力?不。经济状况的恶化是否缩短了他的储蓄之手?不。你情况的恶化使他成为一个骗子了吗?当然不是。
你要知道,人的不信,不能摇动道的真。神在任何情况下都是信实的。
正是这种正直赋予了信仰生命力。因为我们知道神是信实的,所以我们活在世上,深信他所说的他也能成就。当事情不能正常运转时,我们会(谦卑地)问自己,我们对神和他的品格所缺少的,尚未明白的。我们不能断定治愈、奇迹或神的供应是谎言。
神信守诺言。这是我们建立信念的基础。
