1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV); But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
If a man is not Born Again, it is impossible for him to receive or understand the things of the Spirit of God.
The Amplified Bible puts this truth more succinctly. It says, “But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters].”
A man who is not Born Again is INCAPABLE of understanding how the Spirit of God works. He does not understand the speaking of tongues and calls it gibberish or finds a dilutive scientific name for it (glossolalia). He cannot understand the miracle working power of God and will dismiss it as gimmicks staged to deceive the gullible.
This is what makes the salvation of the human soul so important.
It is only through the saving power of Jesus Christ that a man is translated from the realm of darkness (ignorance) to the realm of light (knowledge). By salvation, the spirit man who was previously dead is awakened.
Because this truth is not understood, salvation has been preached as the magic wand that fulfills all sorts of material needs. Do you want a man? Come to Jesus. Do you want a car? Come to Jesus. Do you want a visa to a foreign land? Come to Jesus!
Those things are not the goal of the message of salvation. Its goal is to breathe life into the spirit of a man so that he comes alive to the realities of the realm of God!
Embrace and teach the good news of salvation in this understanding.

Kaakuba muntu Atabyaluwa Buhyaka, kikutimbiikana kutunga kedha kwetegheeleli̱ya bintu ebikwet’o Mwoyo wa Luhanga.
Bbai̱bbu̱li̱ eghi bakughilghamu Ampu̱li̱fayedi̱ ebi̱ghi̱y’o majima ghani mu mulingo ghusemeeye. Haabwa kutakenga majima ghani, bakutebejagha kujunuwa nga maaje aghakugubha kubaha bintu bya bu̱li̱ kilo byona ebi baakwetaaghisibuwa. Okubbala musaasa? Wiise ewaa Yesu. Okubbala matoka? KWA NINI WOKOVU?

1 Wakorintho 2:14 (KJV); Basi mwanadamu wa tabia ya asili hayapokei mambo ya Roho wa Mungu; maana kwake huyo ni upuzi, wala hawezi kuyafahamu, kwa kuwa yatambulikana kwa jinsi ya rohoni.
Ikiwa mtu hajazaliwa mara ya pili, haiwezekani kwake kupokea au kuelewa mambo ya Roho wa Mungu.
Amplified Bible inaweka ukweli huu kwa ufupi zaidi. Inasema, “Lakini mtu wa asili [asiyeamini] hakubali vitu [mafundisho na ufunuo] wa Roho wa Mungu, kwa maana ni upumbavu [upuuzi na mantiki] kwake; na hana uwezo wa kuzielewa, kwa sababu zinatambuliwa kiroho na kuthaminiwa, [na hana sifa ya kuhukumu mambo ya kiroho]. ”
Mtu ambaye hajazaliwa mara ya pili hawezi kuelewa jinsi Roho wa Mungu anavyofanya kazi. Haelewi kusema kwa lugha na anakuita upuuzi au hukupatia jina la kisayansi la kupendeza kama glossolalia. Hawezi kuelewa nguvu ya miujiza ya Mungu na ataipuuza kama ujanja uliopangwa ili kudanganya wanaoamini bila kuwaza kwa umakini.
Hii ndio inayofanya wokovu wa roho ya mwanadamu uwe muhimu sana.
Ni kwa njia ya nguvu ya kuokoa ya Yesu Kristo tu kwamba mtu huhamishwa kutoka eneo la giza (ujinga) hadi eneo la nuru (maarifa). Kupitia kwa wokovu, ndipo mtu wa roho ambaye hapo awali alikuwa amekufa anaamshwa.
Kwa sababu ukweli huu haueleweki, wokovu umehubiriwa kama zana ya uchawi inayotimiza kila aina ya mahitaji ya vitu. Je! Unataka mwanamume? Njoo kwa Yesu. Je! Unataka gari? Njoo kwa Yesu. Je! Unataka viza kwa nchi ya kigeni? Njoo kwa Yesu!
Vitu hivyo sio lengo la ujumbe wa wokovu. Lengo lake ni kupumua uhai ndani ya roho ya mwanadamu ili apate uzima kwa ukweli wa ulimwengu wa Mungu!
Kukumbatia na kufundisha habari njema ya wokovu katika ufahamu huu.

UJUMBE MKUU: Ni kwa nguvu ya kuokoa ya Yesu Kristo tu kwamba mtu huhamishwa kutoka eneo la giza (ujinga) kwenda eneo la nuru (maarifa). Kwa wokovu, mtu wa roho ambaye hapo awali alikuwa amekufa anaamshwa.
SALA: Baba Mpenzi, Ninakushukuru kwa ukweli huu. Ninaelewa maisha ambayo niliitwa. Moyo wangu hautamani kile ambacho mkono wako unaweza kutoa lakini kwa kile moyo wako unaweza kufunua. Nimeamshwa kwa kujua kwamba maisha yangu ya wokovu ni juu ya ukweli wa eneo la Mungu. Ukweli huu unadhihirishwa katika maisha yangu kila siku. Katika jina la Yesu, Amina.
