Acts 8:21 (KJV); Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
No one can truly serve God when his part in the grand scheme of God’s divine purpose has not been revealed to him. That part is your assignment on the earth and is your destiny in God.
In our theme scripture, Simon the sorcerer had been converted to the ministry, he had a desire to heal the sick, give sight to the blind and make the lame to walk. All these were worthy desires but his heart disqualified him; for this reason, his part and lot were not defined by heaven. This teaches us that God cannot trust a man with an assignment when that man’s heart is not right.
Indeed the man may be gifted, but what is the purpose of a gift when God has not revealed one’s assignment to him?
In the church today, I have heard people claim parts that do not even exist in scripture. There are men who claim that God has called them to ‘cleanse’ the church; their life mission is to weed out those they assume are false teachers and prophets. This has been used as a licence to judge the servants of God and cast aspersions on their ministries.
Is there such a calling as ‘cleansing’ the church? Christ is the cleanser, not us. Jesus retained that responsibility for Himself and He does so through His Word.
Do not assume you have a part, like Simon the sorcerer did. Do not create an assignment that does not have the seal of heaven or is not backed by the authority of the Word of God. Instead of looking outward, at whomever you think is unfit for the kingdom of God, and creating a calling about educating them of this fact, look inward, let God deal with your heart and point you to your true assignment.

Tewali ayinza kuweereza Katonda mu mazima ng’omugabo gwe mu nteekateeka ya Katonda engazi ey’ekigendererwa tegumubikkuliddwa. Omugabo ogwo gwe mulimu gw’okuyitibwa kwo ku nsi era ge magenda go mu Katonda.
Mu kyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekigguddewo, Simooni omulogo yali akyusiddwa okudda mu buweereza, yalina okuyaayaana okuwonya abalwadde, okuzibula amaaso g’abazibe n’okutambuza abalema. Kuno kwonna kwali kwegomba okusaanidde naye omutima gwe tegwamusaanyiza; ku lw’ensonga eno, omugabo gwe n’okugabana kwe kwali tekusaliddwawo ggulu. Kino kitusomesa nti Katonda tasobola kwesiga muntu n’omulimu gw’okuyitibwa ng’omutima gw’omuntu oyo si mutereevu.
Mazima ddala omuntu ayinza okuba n’ebirabo, naye ekirabo kiba kya mugaso ki nga Katonda tannaba kubikkulira muntu mulimu gwa kuyitibwa kwe?
Mu kkanisa olwaleero, mpulidde abantu nga beesooka emigabo egitali na mu byawandiikibwa. Waliyo abantu abagamba nti Katonda abayise ‘okulongoosa’ Ekkanisa; omulimu gw’okuyutibwa kw’obulamu bwabwe kwe kuggyamu be balowooza nti basomesa bakyamu era ba nnabbi ba bulimba. Tihariho muntu orikubaasa kuheereza gye Ruhanga omugabo gwe omu nteekateeka empango y’ebigyendererwa by’obwa Ruhanga yaba etamushuuruurairwe. Omugabo ogwo nigwo buvunanizibwa bwaabwe omunsi kandi omuhanda gwaawe omuri Ruhanga.

KUHUSU FUNGU NA SEHEMU

Matendo ya Mitume 8:21 (KJV); Huna fungu wala huna sehemu katika jambo hili, kwa kuwa moyo wako si mnyofu mbele za Mungu.
Hakuna awezaye kumtumikia Mungu kikweli wakati sehemu yake katika mpango mkuu wa kusudi la kimungu la Mungu haijafunuliwa kwake. Sehemu hiyo ni kazi yako duniani na ndiyo hatima yako katika Mungu.
Katika andiko letu la mada, Simoni mchawi alikuwa ameongoka kwa huduma, alikuwa na hamu ya kuponya wagonjwa, kuwapa vipofu kuona na kuwafanya viwete kutembea. Haya yote yalikuwa matamanio yanayostahiki lakini moyo wake ukamkosesha sifa; kwa sababu hii, sehemu yake na fungu lake haikufafanuliwa na mbingu. Hilo latufundisha kwamba Mungu hawezi kumwamini mwanadamu mgawo wakati moyo wa mtu huyo hauko sawa.
Kwa kweli mtu huyo anaweza kuwa na karama, lakini ni nini kusudi la kipawa wakati Mungu hajamfunulia mgawo wa mtu?
Kanisani leo, nimesikia watu wakidai sehemu ambazo hata hazipo katika maandiko. Kuna watu wanaodai kwamba Mungu amewaita ‘kulisafisha’ kanisa; dhamira yao ya maisha ni kuwaondoa wale wanaodhani ni walimu na manabii wa uongo. Hii imetumika kama kibali cha kuwahukumu watumishi wa Mungu na kuzitusi huduma zao.
Je, kuna wito kama huo wa ‘kusafisha’ kanisa? Kristo ndiye msafishaji, si sisi. Yesu alibaki na jukumu hilo kwa ajili yake mwenyewe na anafanya hivyo kupitia Neno Lake.
Usidhani una sehemu, kama Simoni mchawi alivyofanya. Usitengeneze kazi ambayo haina muhuri wa mbinguni au haijaungwa mkono na mamlaka ya Neno la Mungu. Badala ya kutazama kwa nje, kwa yeyote unayefikiri kuwa hafai kwa ufalme wa Mungu, na kuunda wito kuhusu kuwaelimisha juu ya ukweli huu, angalia ndani, acha Mungu ashughulikie moyo wako na akuelekeze kwenye mgawo wako wa kweli.

UJUMBE MKUU: Hakuna anayeweza kumtumikia Mungu kikweli wakati sehemu yake katika mpango mkuu wa kusudi la kimungu la Mungu haijafunuliwa kwake. Sehemu hiyo ni kazi yako duniani na ndiyo hatima yako katika Mungu.
SALA: Baba mpenzi, Nakushukuru kwa ujuzi huu. Ninakushukuru kwa sababu sehemu yangu na fungu langu linafafanuliwa kila siku. Siwezi kamwe kukosea katika kile ambacho nimeitwa kufanya. Ninaelewa mgawo wangu kwa sababu ninajua Neno Lako na ninakujua Wewe, katika jina la Yesu, Amina.
