Proverbs 29:25 (KJV); The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Today, there are many churches that have been muzzled. They speak and minister while tiptoeing around the truth because they are afraid of the public backlash that will come with declaring with boldness and authority what is in the scriptures.
In 1 Timothy 3:15, the Bible reminds us that the Church of Christ is the ground and pillar of truth. Because it is, we should not be afraid to speak because what we say by God’s Spirit is His oracle.
Our theme scripture teaches us that the fear of man ensnares. As such, many churches are bound by public opinion or government policy on the ‘limits of free speech.’
They cannot touch on subjects that the scriptures consider as sin because they are afraid. This has given rise to endless compromises in the body of Christ and a new wave of permissive preachers. Some cannot even demonstrate the power of God because those with less faith will find it offensive.
What a tragedy!
We must know who is in us! Greater, wiser and more powerful is He than he that is in the world. The body of Christ is fearless because its ultimate accountability is to God and not to the systems of this world.

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I know that the greater one lives in me. I refuse to fear any man because God is my strength and light. I speak Your truth with boldness and declare your power with zeal. I prevail against all forces of the enemy because I know who I am, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
