Romans 5:5 (KJV) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Our love for God is defined by our faith in Him and not in the things we do in our own power to demonstrate that love.
The more a man believes in God, the more He loves Him because by faith, we yield to the Spirit of God that causes us to love Him.
The more you yield to God in faith, the more He deals with your heart, circumcises it, to the end that you are more responsive to His leading, His will and His purposes.
In Hebrews 11:6, He says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
We love God because He first loved us but our love for Him is demonstrated through faith because whosoever comes to Him must believe that He is.
God wants you to disentangle yourself from works done to prove that you love Him and embrace faith as the first step in loving God.
Nothing you do or do not do can ever diminish God’s love for you. In the same way, nothing you do or do not do can prove to God that you love Him, only your faith does and the deeper the faith, the greater the depth of love.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I know that Your Spirit causes me to love You like I should. I yield to Him in faith and allow Him to deal with me every day. My walk of salvation is truly a love walk. To the glory of Your name, Amen.
