Romans 8:26-27 (AMPC); So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.
Strange as it may seem, there are people in this world who do not see the need for prayer because the Bible says that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. They ask the question, why must I pray if the Spirit of God prays on my behalf?
For these, the fact that the Spirit intercedes for us is an excuse to lead a prayerless life. For some others, it is a reason to adopt a passive approach to prayer.
However, when the Bible says that the Spirit intercedes on our behalf, it does not mean that His intercession is independent of our participation.
The intercession of the Spirit is a partnership between the believer and the Spirit. This means that effective prayer is praying with the Spirit as a helper, one who guides us along in the prayer.
Why don’t some people’s prayers bear fruit? Why do they spend fruitless hours in the presence of God? It is because some people ignore the helper in their prayers.
Praying with the Spirit is the guarantee that you will ask for WHAT you must ask for, that you will know HOW to pray for what you must pray for and that the prayer you offer is made in a WORTHY manner.

PRAYER: My Father, thank You for this knowledge. Thank You for the precious gift of Your Spirit. He is my guide, light and aid. My prayer life is made more effective by this truth. I bear fruit and see results in my prayer life because I know how to pray with the Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Warumi 8:26-27 (AMPC); Vivyo hivyo Roho [Mtakatifu] hutusaidia na kutuchukua katika udhaifu wetu; kwa maana hatujui ni sala gani ya kutoa wala jinsi ya kuitolea kwa kustahili kama inavyostahili, lakini Roho mwenyewe huenda kukutana na dua zetu na anasihi kwa niaba yetu kwa hamu zisizoelezeka na kuugua kwa kina sana kiasi cha kutoweza kutamkwa. Na Yeye Anayechunguza mioyo ya wanadamu anajua yaliyomo akilini mwa Roho Mtakatifu [Kusudi Lake], kwa sababu Roho huwaombea na kusihi [mbele za Mungu] kwa niaba ya watakatifu kulingana na mapenzi ya Mungu.
Ingawa inaweza kuonekana ya ajabu, kuna watu katika ulimwengu huu ambao hawaoni umuhimu wa maombi kwa sababu Biblia inasema kwamba Roho Mtakatifu anatuombea. Wao huuliza hili swali, kwa nini lazima niombe ikiwa Roho wa Mungu ananiombea?
Kwao, ukweli kwamba Roho hutuombea ni kisingizio cha kuishi maisha yasiyo na maombi. Kwa wengine, ni sababu ya kuchukua njia ya kulegea kimaombi.
Walakini, Biblia inaposema kwamba Roho hutuombea, haimaanishi kwamba maombezi Yake hayana ushiriki wetu.
