Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Samuel 2:8(KJV); He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.
When the Bible speaks of raising the poor out of the dust, some believers immediately assume they are the poor ones that God will raise to sit among princes.
Why are you so quick to take on the role of the underdog and the disadvantaged? Why do you consider yourself a rag among the riches of the men of this world?
A man living in the Old Testament dispensation could own our theme scripture as his reality. As a New Testament creature, your story is different.
As a partaker of what Christ did at Calvary, understand that you are not a poor man being raised out of the dust or a beggar being lifted from the dunghill and set among princes.
That is not how God sees you and neither should you see yourself in such a demeaning way.
The Bible says that through Christ’s poverty, you became rich
(2 Corinthians 8:9). You are not a poor man. The scriptures also reveal that we have been made kings and priests unto the Most High God(Revelation 1:6).
You are royalty. It is not you seeking a place at the table of the blue bloods of this world.

GOLDEN NUGGET: As a partaker of what Christ did at Calvary, understand that you are not a poor man being raised out of the dust or a beggar being lifted from the dunghill and set among princes.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. I rejoice in the truth of who I am in You and what You have done for me. I live in the understanding that I am privileged and a co-heir with Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
