Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Peter 5:6-7(KJV); Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Humility does not only exalt you above fellow men, it will exalt you above circumstances.
Some people are seeking an exaltation above others and yet God wants to introduce them to an exaltation above circumstances.
What honour is there in being great among men yet weak and feeble in the face of adversity?
What glory is there in being respected by your peers yet you’re mocked by troubles?
What praise is there in being an influence among people yet you’re negatively influenced by the storms of life finding yourself breaking under the burden of financial difficulty, collapsing relationships or a wrecked career?
You become a victim of circumstances when you allow pride to lead the way by refusing to cast your cares upon God.
Child of God, do not labour under the might of your hands to bring an end to your problems, rather yield to the mighty hand of God to whom all mountains bow and whose name the waves and winds know.
Rest and trust in God for this is the guarantee that all forms of affliction will bow to you because in this humility, you will be exalted by God.
