Psalm 90:12(KJV); So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Every child of God has the power and authority to command his or her days. From our theme scripture, the Hebrew word for “number” is “manah” which is translated to mean, “appoint, reckon, assign, tell or prepare.”
This means that you can appoint, assign, tell or prepare your days, weeks, months and years. The power to determine what your next five, ten, fifteen or twenty years should look like is in your hands.
Think about this: days were spoken into existence by God. There was a time when they did not exist.
In Genesis 1:5, the Bible reveals that God called the light day and He called the darkness night and from these words, life on earth saw its first day.
What does this phenomenal truth mean to the Christian?
You can command your days and speak them into existence. If God did it, you can do it too! If that was God’s way, there is no other way.
Don’t drift through life at the mercy of time and the events on this earth. You must have the boldness to speak into your future.
The governments of this world shouldn’t speak for you. The economics of this world shouldn’t speak for you. Your critics shouldn’t speak for you. Your present station in life shouldn’t speak for you.
Take charge of your life. Speak into your morning. Speak into your week. Speak into the years to come. Command them!
Tell them what your ministry should look like, what your business should look like, what your marriage and career should look like!
Remind them of who you are in God. Read to them the blessed promises of the Lord and ask them to get in line!
