Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 23:26 (MSG); Dear child, I want your full attention; please do what I show you
God demands and requires your attention. The language of our theme scripture is FULL ATTENTION, not half attention or occasional attention.
It is amazing how many Christians live outside the expectations of this scripture.
This is usually most evident in moments of prayer.
For some, prayer time is when they remember to text a friend about their plans for that day.
Time meant with God is divided between tweeting on social media and speaking to Him.
I have exercised myself to never allow anything to interfere with my time in the presence of God.
When I am with God, I am with Him fully.
Nothing can get me out of the presence of God no matter how urgent. Where God is concerned, anything can wait. He knows what is going on outside your closet and will deal with it when you and Him are done.
When you are with God, stay away from all manner of distractions. Turn off your phone if you must. Be deliberate about creating an atmosphere that hears Him with no hindrances.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Where God is concerned, anything can wait. He knows what is going on outside your closet and will deal with it when you and Him are done.
PRAYER: My Loving Father, I thank You for this day. Thank You for the priceless opportunities to be in Your presence. I treasure every moment because I know what it means to my life and future. I maximise the times I have set apart to be with You and learn from You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
