Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Timothy 6:7 (KJV); For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
Have you ever heard this expression, “As long as I have Jesus, I do not need anything else?”
This statement is true. But it is misused sometimes as an excuse for mediocrity, indifference and even rebellion.
For example, a person who cares nothing for their physical appearance, personal grooming and hygiene may also say, “My Jesus is enough. I do not have to be clean or well dressed for you to like me! He loves me enough!”
Of course He does! Nobody said He loves you any less because of your unkempt appearance and terrible attitude.
But as an ambassador of the Kingdom of God, there are things He expects from you. If you are the ‘I do not care about anything else type’ chances are that some people will observe you and never wish to relate with the God you love so dearly because everything about you misrepresents Him.
The essence of having God is, among other things, that you may have the best life has to offer and to be the best version of yourself you can ever be.

GOLDEN NUGGET: The essence of having God is, among other things, that you may have the best life has to offer and to be the best version of yourself you can ever be.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I am convinced that Your plans and desires for me are for the best things in life. This understanding defines my thinking, attitude and dealings with people, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
