Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 68:19 (AMPC): “Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation! Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!”
—
It is a great and blessed assurance to know that God bears our burdens, but what is most remarkable about our theme scripture is that it goes further to say He not only carries our burdens, He also carries us day by day.
God carries the pressure, the demands, and the things that weigh heavily on your heart. This is what Isaiah 53:4 means when it tells us that He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.
But He doesn’t stop there, He carries you. This is the depth and intensity of God’s care and love for His children.
In Isaiah 46:4 (AMPC), this beautiful promise is repeated. He says, “Even to your old age I am He, and even to hair white with age will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry and will save you.”
Today, rest in the promise that God has not only taken up the burdens troubling your heart, but He has also taken you into His arms. Stop worrying.
You are in His comfortable, strong, and capable arms. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Rest in the promise that God has not only taken up the burdens troubling your heart, but He has also taken you into His arms. Stop worrying.
PRAYER: Father God, thank You for carrying my burdens, and for carrying me too. When I feel overwhelmed, Your love never fails. I choose to trust You more and release everything weighing me down. I pause and remember that You are my salvation. Thank You for walking with me every single day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
