Apostle Grace Lubega
John 5:25 (KJV); Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Jesus Christ came to give us life. In John 10:10, the Bible says, “…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
He gives us this life through His words. In John 6:63, He says, “ The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.’
In casting more light on this knowledge, our theme scripture clearly reveals to us that when the dead hear His voice, they live.
This truth should define your attitude towards His word because its entrance not only brings light, it also brings life. In Greek, the word for life herein is zoe, which is the absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God.
When you listen to a sermon, receive it, not merely as a good message but as life.
When you read the Bible, do so with the knowledge and assurance that you are receiving life and not just a narration of stories in the scriptures.
You can only enjoy the life that God has given you based on how much you hear Him. The more you hear Him, the more spiritually alive you are. The less you hear Him, the more spiritually dead you are.

GOLDEN NUGGET: You can only enjoy the life that God has given you based on how much you hear Him. The more you hear Him, the more spiritually alive you are. The less you hear Him, the more spiritually dead you are.
PRAYER: Father of Glory, I thank You for this knowledge. Thank You for the clarity of Your voice. My spiritual hearing is sharpened more than ever before. I embrace every word that proceeds from You with joy and gladness because it is life to me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
