Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV); All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
When you listen to the Word of God, it is important that you consider it as a word to you and not to someone else.
There are Christians who while listening to the Word assume that it is addressed to a certain sister or brother and has nothing to do with them.
In the middle of a sermon, they start to think that the Word affects that sister in the ushering department or the one in the choir. When they examine the circumstances of their lives, they conclude that the Word is not for them.
With that kind of attitude, it is impossible to receive from a minister of the gospel.
Other than assuming that the Word is for your neighbour and not for you, you must weigh yourself against every message that comes from the altar.
Never consider it as a light shining against someone else’s weaknesses but against your own.
No matter how perfect, in the flesh, you think you are, allow every Word to perform its cleansing power in you by receiving it as yours.

GOLDEN NUGGET: You must weigh yourself against every word that comes from the altar. Allow every Word to perform its cleansing power in you by receiving it as yours.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I receive it with humility. The Word is always personal to me and I treat it as a personal responsibility. In this wisdom, it works not in just bits of my life but in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen
