2 Thessalonians 3:1 (KJV); Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Praying for those that minister the Word to you is another way of receiving from them.
This is not a prayer for God to give them material possessions like houses or cars. In our theme scripture, Paul instructs us on the substance of such prayers.
The instruction is to pray that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified even as it is with you.
Your prayer should be that the Word of God preached by the minister of the gospel bears fruit in others in the same way that it has done in you.
This is the selflessness of the intercessor. It is a mark of maturity. It is what makes the closet more than the place to demand for what God can do for you.
Every time you pray for the Word to bear fruit in others, it is grounded deeper and deeper in your spirit, causing you to flourish and making your profit evident for all to see.
By this kind of prayer, you become a partaker in the reward of that minister of the gospel.

Kuwaombea wale wanaohudumia Neno kwako ni njia nyingine ya kupokea kutoka kwao.
Hii sio maombi kwa Mungu awape mali kama nyumba au magari. Katika andiko letu kuu, Paulo anatuelekeza juu ya kiini cha sala kama hizo.
Maagizo ni kuomba kwamba Neno la Bwana lienee kwa upesi na kutukuzwa kama ilivyo ndani yako.
Ombi lako linapaswa kuwa kwamba Neno la Mungu linalohubiriwa na mhudumu wa injili lizae matunda kwa wengine kwa njia ile ile ambayo imefanya ndani yako.
Huu ni ubinafsi wa mwombezi. Ni alama ya ukomavu. Hii ndio hufanya mahali pako pa siri kuwa zaidi ya mahali pa kudai kile Mungu anaweza kukufanyia.
Kila wakati unapoomba Neno lizae matunda kwa wengine, limetiwa ndani zaidi na zaidi ndani ya roho yako, na kukusababisha kushamiri na kuifanya faida yako ionekane kwa wote.
Kwa aina hii ya maombi, unakuwa mshiriki katika tuzo la mhudumu huyo wa injili.
