Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Thessalonians 3:1 (KJV); Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Praying for those that minister the Word to you is another way of receiving from them.
This is not a prayer for God to give them material possessions like houses or cars. In our theme scripture, Paul instructs us on the substance of such prayers.
The instruction is to pray that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified even as it is with you.
Your prayer should be that the Word of God preached by the minister of the gospel bears fruit in others in the same way that it has done in you.
This is the selflessness of the intercessor. It is a mark of maturity. It is what makes the closet more than the place to demand for what God can do for you.
Every time you pray for the Word to bear fruit in others, it is grounded deeper and deeper in your spirit, causing you to flourish and making your profit evident for all to see.
By this kind of prayer, you become a partaker in the reward of that minister of the gospel.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Praying for those that minister the Word to you is another way of receiving from them. Your prayer should be that the Word of God preached by the minister of the gospel bears fruit in others in the same way that it has done in you.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I receive this instruction with humility. My heart pants for the expansion of Your kingdom and for the gospel to have free reign in the lives of multitudes. I decree and declare that the Word has free course in my family, in my nation, in my continent and in the world, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
