Apostle Grace Lubega
Luke 8:18 (KJV); Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Hearing God is about more than hearing an instruction.
Some people are fixated on being instructed by God but even that is not enough.
Why is this so?
While what you hear is important, how you hear is even more important. In our theme scripture, the Lord urges us to take heed HOW we hear.
How we hear defines our maturity. This is because there are things God can speak based on HOW you hear while there are those He can withhold from speaking because of HOW you hear.
Children and adults can all hear. But do they hear the same way? No.
God does not speak to all of us the same way. How He speaks to a man who is yielded to Him is different from how He speaks to one who is not yielded to Him. How He speaks to a babe differs from how He speaks to one who is mature.
Even as you seek God to instruct you in the matters of your life, also seek Him to mature you in HOW you hear because as you grow in the HOWS of hearing, you will receive higher and greater instructions from Him.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Even as you seek God to instruct you in the matters of your life, also seek Him to mature you in HOW you hear because as you grow in the HOWS of hearing, you will receive higher and greater instructions from Him.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. Thank You for growing and maturing me in Your ways. I hear as one who is learned and mature. By this, You trust me with great and unsearchable truths, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
