Psalm 42:1-2 (KJV); As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
Hungry men see God because He responds to hunger. But what does it mean to be hungry for God?
Is it the desire to know as many scriptures as you can memorise? Is it the longing to walk in deeper realms of the anointing and to demonstrate God’s power more intensely?
A man who truly hungers for God is one that pants to know and understand the heart of God in its fullness.
We are most aligned to divine purpose when we desire most to know what God’s heart can reveal, beyond what His hand can give.
His hand may give you an anointing to heal. But His heart will grace you with the compassion that makes men whole.
His hand may give you the power of speech to draw crowds. But His heart will grace you with a love for souls that will enable you to keep those He has drawn.
A truly hungry man has the wisdom that can tell this difference.
So you must do your own soul searching and ask the ultimate question; am I truly hungry?

Zaburi 42:1-2 (KJV); Kama ayala aioneavyo shauku mito ya maji. Vivyo hivyo nafsi yangu inakuonea shauku, Ee Mungu. Nafsi yangu inamwonea kiu MUNGU, Mungu aliye hai, Lini nitakapokuja nionekane mbele za Mungu?
Watu wenye njaa humwona Mungu kwa sababu Yeye huitikia njaa. Lakini inamaanisha nini kuwa na njaa kwa Mungu?
Je! Ni hamu ya kujua maandiko mengi kadiri uwezavyo kukariri? Je! Ni hamu ya kutembea katika maeneo ya kina zaidi ya upako na kuonyesha nguvu ya Mungu kwa ukali zaidi?
Mtu ambaye ana njaa ya kweli kwa Mungu ni yule anayetamani kujua na kuelewa moyo wa Mungu katika ukamilifu wake.
Tunafungamana zaidi na kusudi la kimungu wakati tunatamani sana kujua kile ambacho moyo wa Mungu unaweza kufunua, zaidi ya kile ambacho mkono Wake unaweza kutoa.
Mkono wake unaweza kukupa upako wa kuponya. Lakini moyo wake utakuneemesha na huruma inayowafanya watu wawe wazima.
Mkono wake unaweza kukupa nguvu ya kuvuta umati kwa maneno. Lakini moyo wake utakuneemesha na upendo wa roho za watu ambao utakuwezesha kutunza wale aliowavuta.
Mtu mwenye njaa ya kweli ana hekima inayoweza kujua tofauti hii.
Kwa hivyo lazima uchunguze nafsi yako mwenyewe na ujiulize swali la hili; Je! Nina njaa ya kweli?

UJUMBE MKUU: Mtu ambaye ana njaa ya kweli kwa Mungu ni yule ambaye ana kiu ya kuujua na kuuelewa moyo wa Mungu kwa ukamilifu wake. Tunafungamana zaidi na kusudi la kimungu wakati tunatamani sana kujua kile ambacho moyo wa Mungu unaweza kufunua, zaidi ya kile ambacho mkono Wake unaweza kutoa.
