Romans 8:28 (AMPC); We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
“All things work together for good” is a mantra for those resigned to a fate that they feel incapable of changing. It is sometimes spoken by drowning men clutching at biblical straws.
“All things work together for good” is usually said with a bleak look at the future and an attempt to console one who is demoralised and dejected. “All things work together for good” is the balm for those dealing with the pain of loss.
Is this the mind of God?
To fully understand the application of our theme scripture, one has to read it within its context.
In the preceding verses, the Bible speaks of the role of the Spirit in our prayer lives. It says, “And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.” (Romans 8:27).
When the Bible says, in verse 28 that we are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good, the labour in this context, picked from the previous verses, is the labour of prayer.
Romans 8:28 is not for men attempting to tolerate defeat. This scripture is for praying men. All things work together for those that know how to pray! All things work together for good for those who know how to partner with the Spirit of God in prayer.
Don’t merely resign yourself to a bad situation while mumbling to yourself that all things work together for good. Learn to partner with the Spirit of God in prayer. He is the guarantee that the good will come.

Eno y’endowooza ya Katonda?
Okutegeera obulungi enkozesa y’ekyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekiguddewo, omuntu omu ateekwa okukisomera wamu n’ennyiriri endala mwe kiri.
Mu nnyiriri ezikisooka waggulu, Baibuli eyogera ku mulimu gw’omwoyo mu bulamu bwaffe obw’okusaba. Egamba, “naye akebera emitima amanyi okulowooza kw’Omwoyo [omutukuvu] bwe kuli [ebigendererwa Bye bwe biri], kubanga awolereza [mu maaso ga Katonda] abatukuvu nga Katonda bw’ayagala.” (Abaruumi 8:27).

“Ebintu byoona nibikwatanisiza hamwe kureeta oburungi” n’engamba y’abo abeehaireyo aha muheru ogu barikuhurira batarikubaasa kuhindura. Obumwe nikigambwa abantu abarikuba nibaibira bakwatiire aha bushekye bwa Baiburi.

Egi niyo enteekateeka ya Ruhanga?
Omuntu kwetegyereza gye enkozesa y’omutwe gw’ebyahandiikirwe byaitu, aine kugushoma omu nteekateeka ei gwahandiikirwemu.
Omu mishororongo y’enyimaho, Baiburi negamba aha mugasho gw’Omwoyo omu magara gaitu g’okushaba. Negira eti, “Kandi Ogwo, ocaaka emitima y’abantu, amanya ebi Omwoyo ateekateeka, ku atonganira abarikwera, nk’oku Ruhanga akunda.” (Abarooma 8:27).

Ebintu byoona nibikwatanisiza hamwe kureetera oburungi abo abarikumanya kukwatanisa n’Omwoyo wa Ruhanga omu kushaba.

KUHUSU KAZI ZA MAOMBI

Warumi 8:28 (AMPC); Tunahakikishiwa na kujua kwamba [Mungu akiwa mshirika katika kazi yao] vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja [katika mpango] kwa faida ya wale wanaompenda Mungu na walioitwa kulingana na muundo na kusudi [Lake].
“Vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja kwa faida” ni mantra kwa wale waliojiuzulu kwa hatima ambayo wanahisi kuwa hawawezi kubadilisha. Wakati mwingine huzungumzwa na watu wanaozama wakishikilia mikanda ya kibiblia.
“Vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja kwa faida” kawaida husemwa kwa mtazamo mbaya wa wakati ujao na kwa jaribio la kumfariji mtu aliyefadhaika na kukatishwa tamaa. “Vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja kwa faida” ni zeri kwa wale wanaoshughulikia maumivu ya upotevu.
Hili ni wazo la Mungu?
Ili kuelewa kikamilifu matumizi ya andiko letu kuu, mtu anapaswa kulisoma katika muktadha wake.
Katika mistari iliyotangulia, Biblia inazungumza juu ya jukumu la Roho katika maisha yetu ya maombi. Inasema, “Na Yeye ambaye huchunguza mioyo ya wanadamu anajua yaliyomo akilini mwa Roho [Mtakatifu] [kusudi lake], kwa sababu Roho huwaombea na kuwasihi [mbele za Mungu] kwa niaba ya watakatifu kulingana na kuambatana na mapenzi ya Mungu.” (Warumi 8:27).
Wakati Biblia inasema, katika mstari wa 28 kwamba tunahakikishiwa na tunajua kwamba [Mungu akiwa mshirika katika kazi yao] vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja [vinafaa katika mpango] kwa faida, kazi katika muktadha huu, iliyochukuliwa kutoka kwa aya zilizotangulia, ni kazi ya maombi.
Warumi 8:28 sio ya watu wanaojaribu kuvumilia kushindwa. Maandiko haya ni ya kusali kwa watu. Vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja kwa wale wanaojua jinsi ya kuomba! Vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja kwa faida ya wale ambao wanajua kushirikiana na Roho wa Mungu katika maombi.
Usijiuzulu tu kwa hali mbaya huku ukilalamika mwenyewe kuwa vitu vyote vinafanya kazi pamoja kwa faida. Jifunze kushirikiana na Roho wa Mungu katika maombi. Yeye ndiye dhamana ya kuwa mema yatakuja.
