Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV): “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
—
Salvation is a change of lineage, identity, and an introduction into divine wealth. When you became born again, you were reborn into this new reality.
Physically, you may have been born into an impoverished family, a broken system, or a poor nation, but the moment you became born again, you received a new beginning.
Your natural family does not define your wealth. Your biological background does not determine your inheritance. In Christ, you are no longer limited by the circumstances of your first birth; you are empowered by the provisions of your new birth.
This is why Scripture tells us that we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). Your salvation introduced you into a family that lacks nothing. Heaven’s resources are now legally accessible to you through faith.
Therefore, your family background is not an excuse. Your nation is not an excuse. Your past is not an excuse. In Christ, you have been given a fresh start, complete, sufficient, and abundant.
When you understand this truth, you stop explaining your struggles by where you come from and start walking boldly in what you have received. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:16–17; Ephesians 1:3
GOLDEN NUGGET: Your natural family does not define your wealth. Your biological background does not determine your inheritance. In Christ, you are no longer limited by the circumstances of your first birth; you are empowered by the provisions of your new birth.
PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for the gift of the new birth. Thank You that in Christ I have a new beginning and a new inheritance. I refuse to limit myself by my background, family, or nation. I walk boldly in the wealth, provision, and advantage that is mine in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
