Matthew 7:16-17 (KJV); Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
When some people quote our theme scripture, they refer to physical fruit. Some assume that the fruits herein are cars, nicer clothes or better houses.
The truth of the matter is that it takes spiritual maturity to discern fruit in the life of a man.
Physical and material possessions can be deceptive. Outward behaviour and temperament as a sign of fruit can also be misleading.
In Galatians 5:22-23, the Bible casts light on what we must look at as fruit. It says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
If you wish to discern fruit in the life of another man or in your life, you must ask these questions, “Have you been perfected in the love of God? Are you living in the joy of the Spirit, the kind that is constant regardless of the nature of your circumstances? Do you have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding? Are you patient and long-suffering or do you lose your temper at the slightest provocation? Is the law of kindness at work in your life? Is humility the mark of your spirit? Have you been elevated in faith?
Fruit is manifested through the seamless work of the Spirit of God in your life.

Mathayo 7:16-17 (KJV); Mtawatambua kwa matunda yao. Je! Watu huchuma zabibu katika miiba, au tini katika mibaruti? Vivyo hivyo kila mti mwema huzaa matunda mazuri; na mti mwovu huzaa matunda mabaya.
Watu wengine wanaponukuu andiko letu kuu, wanataja matunda halisi. Wengine hudhani kuwa matunda hapa ni magari, nguo nzuri au nyumba bora.
Ukweli wa jambo ni kwamba inachukua ukomavu wa kiroho kutambua matunda katika maisha ya mtu.
Mali ya kimwili na kifedha yanaweza kudanganya. Tabia na ishara za nje kama ishara ya matunda pia zinaweza kupotosha.

Matunda hudhihirishwa kupitia kazi laini ya Roho wa Mungu maishani mwako.

当有些人引用我们的主题经文时,他们指的是物质上的果子。一些人认为这里的果子是汽车,更好的衣服或更好的房子。
事情的真相是,要在一个人的生活中辨别果子,需要属灵的成熟。
物质和物质上的占有是有欺骗性的。作为果子标志的外在行为和气质也可能具有误导性。
在加拉太书5:22-23中,圣经阐明了我们必须视之为果子的东西。上面说,“但圣灵的果子是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、 温柔、节制;这样的事,是没有律法禁止的。”
