Colossians 3:10 (KJV); And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Knowledge in God is revealed to men based on the covenant they are under and the nature they possess.
Take the example of Moses and the apostle John. Moses was under the old covenant and John under the new. When God revealed the heavenly tabernacle to Moses, He said in Exodus 25:9, “According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.” Moses had a vision of the tabernacle and the temple and had to follow the exact patterns of what he had seen in making the earthly replica.
This is in total contrast to the revelation that John received about the temple and tabernacle. The Bible says in Revelation 21:22, “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.”
How about the creation story? Moses’ beginning is different from John’s beginning. In Moses’ beginning, we see the creation of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1). John’s beginning goes further than Moses’ beginning to the Word Himself (John 1:1).
This tells us that there are truths that are available to new creatures in Christ but unavailable to those that have not been reborn in Christ.
A man under the new covenant has free access to higher truths while one who lives under the old covenant does not have this access.
A man under the old covenant will see shadows, a man under the new covenant will see the substance of spiritual realities (Colossians 2:17). If Moses could only see the appearance of a temple, you see as John saw; you see God. If Moses could only see what the Word could do in the beginning, you see as John saw, you see the Word Himself.

Okumanya kushuuruuriirwe abantu ahabw’endagaano ei barimu n’obuhangwa obu baine.
Reeba eky’okureeberaho kya Musa n’entumwa Yohaana. Musa akaba ari omu ndagaano enkuru kandi Yohaana ari omu ndagaano ensya. UFAHAMU KWA AGANO

Wakolosai 3:10 (KJV); Mkivaa utu mpya, unaofanywa upya upate ufahamu sawasawa na mfano wake yeye aliyeuumba.
Ufahamu katika Mungu hufunuliwa kwa wanadamu kulingana na agano walilomo na asili waliyo nayo.
Chukua mfano wa Musa na mtume Yohana. Musa alikuwa chini ya agano la kale na Yohana alikuwa chini ya agano jipya. Wakati Mungu alipomfunulia Musa maskani ya mbinguni, alisema katika Kutoka 25:9, “Sawasawa na haya yote nikuonyeshayo, mfano wa maskani, na mfano wa vyombo vyake vyote, ndivyo mtakavyovifanya. Sanduku la Agano.” Musa alipata maono ya maskani na hekalu na ilibidi afuate miundo halisi ya kile alichokiona katika kutengeneza mfano wake wa kidunia.
Hii ni tofauti kabisa na ufunuo ambao Yohana alipokea kuhusu hekalu na maskani. Mwanzo wa Yohana unaenda nyuma zaidi kuliko mwanzo wa Musa hadi kwa Neno mwenyewe (Yohana 1: 1)
Hii inatuambia kwamba kuna kweli ambazo zinapatikana kwa viumbe vipya katika Kristo lakini hazipatikani kwa wale ambao hawajazaliwa upya katika Kristo. Yule aliye chini ya agano jipya ana ufikiaji wa bure wa ukweli wa hali ya juu ilhali yule anayeishi chini ya agano la kale hana ufikiaji huu.
Mtu aliye chini ya agano la kale ataona vivuli, aliye chini ya agano jipya ataona ukweli halisi wa kiroho (Wakolosai 2:17). Ikiwa Musa angeweza tu kuona mwonekano wa hekalu, wewe ona kama Yohana alivyoona; mwone Mungu. Ikiwa Musa angeweza tu kuona kile ambacho Neno lingeweza kufanya hapo mwanzo, wewe ona kama vile Yohana alivyoona, ona Neno mwenyewe.

UJUMBE MKUU: Ufahamu katika Mungu hufunuliwa kwa wanadamu kulingana na agano walilomo na asili waliyo nayo. Otwale kyakuloleloo kya Musa na Mukwenda Yohaana. Musa akaba ali mu ndaghaano enkulu kandi Yohaana ali mu ndaghaano empyaka.
