Apostle Grace Lubega
Isaiah 34:16 (NKJV): “Search from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them.”

When it comes to marriage, not just anyone is suitable for you. Some people wrongly assume that there is no such thing as a specific spouse meant for them. They think they can simply choose anyone from a wide pool of potential partners and fit them into the role of husband or wife.
This way of thinking is not aligned with scripture. Our theme verse specifically uses the phrase “her mate,” which shows that God, in His divine plan, has a specific individual ordained for your life.
This is why the decision to marry must be rooted in actually hearing from God. It cannot be treated like a shopping trip where you take a checklist of personal preferences to a marketplace and simply tick off the boxes.
Ultimately, because marriage is a divine institution, you must seek the One who created it. He alone knows what is best for you. When you ask for His direction, you are trusting the only One who can perfectly match you with the partner He has already prepared for you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for this word. I do not make choices based only on my own understanding or worldly standards. I acknowledge that You know me completely and You know exactly who is best for me. I submit my personal desires to Your will. You guide my steps to the partner You have uniquely ordained for my life. I trust You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
