Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 8:1-2 (KJV); Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
Jesus Christ is the Minister of the Sanctuary. As the Minister of the Sanctuary, His primary ministry to every child of God is not what He must do through you but what He must do in you.
Many people are very preoccupied with ministering to Christ. Their moments of communion are defined by service to Him in the sanctuary. How about what He wants to minister to you?
If your sole focus is on what you must do in your ministry to Him, you will never understand how He breaks and mends men; how He teaches and chastises; how He kills and makes alive.
Many people pray to God to use them. But a man of a much higher understanding does not pray to be used but that God may deal with Him. He knows that the Lord wants to first work in him before He can work through him. He knows that God wants to teach him compassion before anointing him to heal the sick; to grow his patience before trusting him with multitudes.
My ministry is the total sum of the things God has done in me. My prayer is not that He may use me but that He may work in me.
Allow God to work in you. Give Him your heart (Proverbs 23:26). That is the foundation before He works through you.
His name be praised!
