Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 5:6 (KJV); Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
I have served as a minister of God long enough to understand that many people feign spiritual hunger. They think they are hungry for God but a close examination of their lives proves that they are not.
Attending every service and listening to each sermon does not necessarily mean that a man is hungry for God. These things are important but are not the absolute guarantee that one’s heart pants for God.
I know people who attend every service and the only conviction in their spirits is the fact that it was a deep sermon.
What translates a sermon from merely a good teaching to substance that you can live by is hunger.
True hunger turns every message into a life principle with transformative capacity.
Everyone who hungers is filled. If it is the anointing, God anoints them; if it is growth, He increases them; if it is wisdom, He imparts. Seeking God with true hunger never leaves a man empty.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for stirring in me true and God-birthed hunger. It is out of that desire that I seek You, knowing that You fill the longing soul, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
