Psalm 81:10 (KJV); I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
God fills open mouths. How open your mouth is defines how hungry you are for the Word.
In Psalm 119:162, David describes the behaviour and mindset of a man whose mouth is wide open. He says, “I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.”
Because of this attitude toward the Word, the Lord filled him with great insights into the person of Christ, that in Luke 24:44, the Lord says, “These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the PSALMS concerning me.”
It was David’s level of hunger that gave him access to who Christ was before he came in the flesh.
What is your appetite for revelation? How hungry are you for the next level in the Word?
A hungry man never reads the Word as a routine. When he gets into the scriptures, he reads them as an experience because in God’s light he always sees light. When a truly hungry man gets into the Word, he starts to live because God fills him.

In the Word, I see, hear, taste and touch spiritual realities. Your Word is an experience that consumes every essence of my being. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Zaburi 81:10 (KJV); Mimi ndimi BWANA, Mungu wako, Niliyekupandisha toka nchi ya Misri; Fumbua sana kinywa chako nami nitakijaza.
Mungu hujaza vinywa vilivyo wazi. Kadri ya uwazi wa kinywa chako ni ufafanuo wa kadri ya njaa yako kwa Neno.
Katika Zaburi 119:162, Daudi anaelezea tabia na mawazo ya mtu ambaye kinywa chake kiko wazi. Anasema, “Naifurahia ahadi yako, Kama apataye mateka mengi.”
Kwa sababu ya mtazamo huu juu ya Neno, Bwana alimjaza ufahamu mkubwa kuhusu utu wa Kristo, kwamba katika Luka 24:44, Bwana anasema, “Hayo ndiyo maneno yangu niliyowaambia nilipokuwa nikali pamoja nanyi, ya kwamba ni lazima yatimizwe yote niliyoandikiwa katika Torati ya Musa, na katika Manabii na ZABURI.”
Ilikuwa kiwango cha njaa cha Daudi kilichompa ufikiaji kwa mtu wa Kristo kabla ya kuja katika mwili.
Je! Una hamu gani ya ufunuo? Je! Una njaa gani kwa kiwango kifuatacho katika Neno?
Mtu mwenye njaa kamwe hasomi Neno kamwe kama kawaida. Anapoingia katika maandiko, huyasoma kama uzoefu kwa kuwa katika nuru ya Mungu daima huona nuru. Wakati mtu mwenye njaa ya kweli anaingia katika Neno, anaanza kuishi kwa sababu Mungu anamjaza.

UJUMBE MKUU: Mtu mwenye njaa kamwe hasomi Neno kama kawaida. Anapoingia kwenye maandiko, huyasoma kama uzoefu kwa kuwa katika nuru ya Mungu daima huona nuru. Wakati mtu mwenye njaa kweli anaingia kwenye Neno, anaanza kuishi kwa sababu Mungu humjaza.
SALA: Baba mpenzi, Ninakushukuru kwa ukweli huu. Asante kwa zawadi ya Neno Lako na Roho ya Ufunuo. Macho ya moyo wangu yako wazi na yametiwa nuru. Katika Neno, ninaona, ninasikia, ninaonja na kugusa hali halisi ya kiroho. Neno lako ni uzoefu ambao unajaza kila kiini cha uhai wangu. Katika jina la Yesu, Amina.
