Psalm 37:23 (KJV); The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Growth, success, and increase in the realm of the spirit are defined by positioning. Positioning, in turn, defines direction.
In our theme scripture, the Bible reveals that God orders our steps. It means that He gives us direction and tells us which way we should go. However, the way you should go (direction) is determined by where you are (position).
Many things determine positioning. One of those things is prayer.
One may wonder, what is the relationship between prayer and answers to prayer? The missing element in that equation is positioning. Prayer aligns your life in such a manner that it places you in the right place at the right time. This kind of alignment is why you find yourself speaking to the right person who will lead you through the right door for that breakthrough that you need or for the next level of your ministry.
Besides merely prayer, how you pray also determines your position. When a man’s prayer is mainly centred on his material needs, that man cannot be positioned for higher graces.
Ask yourself the candid question? Where am I in God? (Position). Where am I going? (Direction). In this understanding, let prayer be more than an item to tick off your daily routine. Understand that it moves your spirit in the direction that God wants you to take.

Mu kyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekigguddewo, Baibuli ebikkula nti Katonda anyweza eŋŋendo zaffe. Kitegeeza nti atulagirira wa gye tulaga era atubuulira kkubo ki mwe tulina okugenda. Naye, ekkubo gy’olina okulaga(gye tulaga) lyesigamye ku wa wooli (ekifo ky’olimu).
Ebintu bingi ebisalawo wa wetuli. Ekimu ku byo y’essaala.
Omuntu omu ayinza okwewuunya, nkolagana ki eri wakati w’essaala n’okuddibwamu kw’essaala? Ekintu ekibulawo mu kibalo ekyo kye kifo ky’olimu. Essaala etereeza obulamu bwo mu ngeri nti ekuteeka mu bifo ebituufu mu kiseera ekituufu. Okukura, okukurakurana hamwe n’okukanyisa omunsi y’omwoyo, nibirugirira aha mwanya ogu orimu. Omwanya ogu orimu nagwo nigusharamu ahu oine kuza.
Omu mutwe gw’ebyahandiikirwe byaitu, Baiburi neshuuruura ngu Mukama nahamya orugyendo rwaitu. Nikimanyisa ngu natuheereza orugyendo kandi atworeka omuhanda ogu tushemereire kugyenderamu. Kwonka omuhanda ogu oshemereire kugyenderamu (orugyendo) nigusharwamu kurugirira ahu ori (omwanya ogu orimu).

Zaburi 37:23 (KJV); Hatua za mtu zaimarishwa na BWANA, Naye aipenda njia yake.
Ukuaji, mafanikio na ongezeko katika eneo la roho hufafanuliwa na nafasi. Nafasi nayo, hufafanua mwelekeo.
Katika andiko letu kuu, Biblia inafunua kwamba Mungu huamuru hatua zetu. Inamaanisha kwamba Yeye hutupa mwelekeo na kutuambia ni njia ipi tunayopaswa kwenda. Walakini, njia ambayo unapaswa kwenda (mwelekeo) imedhamiriwa na mahali ulipo (nafasi).
Vitu vingi huamua nafasi. Mojawapo ni maombi.
Mtu anaweza kujiuliza, kuna uhusiano gani kati ya maombi na majibu ya maombi? Kipengee kinachokosekana hapo katikati ni nafasi. Maombi yanalinganisha maisha yako kwa njia ambayo itakuweka mahali pazuri kwa wakati unaofaa. Usawazishaji wa aina hii ndio sababu unajikuta ukiongea na mtu sahihi ambaye atakuongoza kupitia mlango unaofaa kwa mafanikio ambayo unahitaji au kwa kiwango kingine cha huduma yako.
Mbali na maombi tu, jinsi unavyoomba pia huamua nafasi yako. Wakati sala ya mtu inazingatia mahitaji yake ya nyenzo, mtu huyo hawezi kuwekwa kwa neema za juu.
Jiulize swali dhahiri? Niko wapi kwa Mungu? (Nafasi). Ninaenda wapi? (Mwelekeo). Katika ufahamu huu, wacha maombi yawe zaidi ya kitu cha utaratibu wako wa kila siku. Elewa kuwa inasongesha roho yako katika mwelekeo ambao Mungu anataka ufike.
