John 20:21-24 (KJV); Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be unto you: as my father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
Increase and success come to men that have understood how to position themselves in the spirit.
The reason why some people miss out on life-changing opportunities is because of positioning. It was positioning for Rebecca to come to the well at the time when Abraham’s servant came along (Genesis 24:10-20).
It was positioning for Moses to grow up in the house of Pharoah (Exodus 2:10). It was positioning for the prophet Isaiah to be part of a heavenly meeting where the Lord asked, “Whom shall I send?” (Isaiah 6:8). It was positioning that made the house of Cornelius the first of all Gentile households to receive the gospel (Acts 10). It was positioning for Zaccheaus to climb up a tree in order to see Jesus (Luke 19:1-10).
Similarly, poor positioning is the reason why Thomas missed a critical meeting between Christ and his disciples.
Think about it for a moment. This was Christ’s first appearance to the group of disciples after His resurrection and Thomas missed it. By this singular act of omission alone, he put a dent in his testimony.
You must develop a consciousness about positioning. It should define the reason why you do the things that you do.
Never miss a church service or a sermon. Every moment in the presence of God is an opportunity for positioning! When the ministry is collectively involved in a mobilization activity, don’t sit on the sidelines as a spectator to events, make the deliberate decision to be part because that too is positioning!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Increase and success come to men that have understood how to position themselves in the spirit. You must develop a consciousness about positioning. It should define the reason why you do the things that you do.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I am perfectly positioned by the Spirit. I function in my ‘kairos’ because God places me in the right place at the right time. Success and increase come to me because I am deeply conscious of where I am and where I must be in the spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

KUHUSU NAFASI – 2

Yohana 20:21-24 (KJV); Basi Yesu akawaambia tena, Amani iwe kwenu; kama Baba alivyonituma mimi, mimi nami nawapeleka ninyi. Naye akiisha kusema hayo, akawavuvia, akawaambia, Pokeeni Roho Mtakatifu. Wowote mtakaowaondolea dhambi, wameondolewa; na wowote mtakaowafungia dhambi, wamefungiwa. Walakini mmoja wa wale Thenashara, Tomaso, aitwaye Pacha, hakuwako pamoja nao alipokuja Yesu.
Ongezeko na mafanikio huja kwa watu ambao wameelewa jinsi ya kujiweka kinafasi katika roho.
Sababu ya watu wengine kukosa fursa za kubadilisha maisha ni kwa sababu ya nafasi. Ilikuwa ni nafasi ya Rebecca kuja kwenye kisima wakati ambapo mtumishi wa Ibrahimu alipokuja (Mwanzo 24:10-20).
Ilikuwa ni nafasi ya Musa kukua katika nyumba ya Pharoah (Kutoka 2:10). Ilikuwa ni nafasi kwa nabii Isaya kuwa sehemu ya mkutano wa mbinguni ambapo Bwana aliuliza, “Nimtume nani?” (Isaya 6:8). Nafasi hiyo ndiyo iliyofanya nyumba ya Kornelio kuwa ya kwanza kati ya kaya zote za Mataifa kupokea injili (Matendo 10). Ilikuwa ikiweka nafasi kwa Zakayo kupanda juu ya mti ili kumwona Yesu (Luka 19:1-10).
Vivyo hivyo, nafasi mbaya ndiyo sababu ya Tomaso kukosa mkutano muhimu kati ya Kristo na wanafunzi wake.
Fikiria juu yake kwa muda mfupi. Hii ilikuwa ujio wa kwanza wa Kristo kwa kundi la wanafunzi baada ya kufufuka kwake na Tomaso aliikosa. Kwa kitendo hiki pekee cha kutokuwepo, aliweka denti katika ushuhuda wake.
Lazima ukuze ufahamu juu ya nafasi. Inapaswa kufafanua sababu yako ya kufanya vitu unavyofanya.
Kamwe usikose ibada ya kanisa au mahubiri. Kila wakati mbele za Mungu ni fursa ya nafasi! Wakati huduma inashiriki kwa pamoja katika shughuli ya uhamasishaji, usikae pembeni kama mtazamaji wa hafla, fanya uamuzi wa makusudi wa kuwa sehemu kwa sababu hiyo pia ni nafasi!
