Matthew 20:28 (NLT); For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
The gifts of God and His anointing in our lives were never meant to be used to take advantage of those that we lead. The gift and the anointing are for service.
Look at Christ, our ultimate pattern. He was God in the flesh; In Him dwells all the fullness of God bodily. In Him are all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. To Him, God gave the anointing without measure.
With all this power at His disposal, what did He do? The Bible says that He served. It was not His agenda to be served. It was His foremost ambition to serve men.
But how different is the situation in the Church of Christ today?! Gifted and anointed men somehow assume that the gift and the anointing are the guarantee that they must be served. Some men demand service from others simply because of the graces that are at work in their lives. This entitlement is at the root of the exploitation of many church congregants.
That is not the way of Godly service. If men should serve you, it should be because they see you serve God and other men.

Mathayo 20:28 (NLT); Kama vile Mwana wa Adamu asivyokuja kutumikiwa, bali kutumika, na kutoa nafsi yake iwe fidia ya wengi.
Vipawa vya Mungu na upako wake maishani mwetu hayajakusudiwa kutumiwa katika kuwanyanyasa wale tunaowaongoza. Vipawa na upako ni kwa ajili ya huduma.
Mtazame Kristo, mfano wetu kamili. Alikuwa Mungu katika umbile la mwili wa kibinadamu; Ndani Yake mnakaa ukamilifu wote wa Mungu kimwili. Ndani Yake mna hazina zote za hekima na maarifa. Kwake, Mungu alimpa upako bila kipimo.
Je, kwa nguvu hizi zote, alifanya nini? Biblia inasema kwamba aliwatumikia watu. Haikuwa ajenda Yake kutumikiwa bali ilikuwa ni tarajio lake kuu kuwatumikia watu.
Lakini hali ikoje tofauti katika Kanisa la Kristo leo? Watu wenye vipawa na upako huchukulia kipawa na upako kama dhamana ya kwamba lazima wapewe huduma. Watumishi wengine wanadai watumikiwe na wengine kwa sababu tu ya neema ambazo zinafanya kazi katika maisha yao. Haki hii ndio msingi wa unyanyasaji wa waumini wengi katika kanisa.
Hiyo sio njia ya utumishi wa Kiungu. Ikiwa watu watakutumikia, inapaswa kuwa kwa sababu wanaona mfano wako wa kumtumikia Mungu na watu wengine.

神的恩赐和他在我们生命中的膏油,从来没有赐给我们去利用我们所领导的人。礼物和膏油都是用来服侍的。
看看基督,我们的终极模式。他是穿着人体的神;神的丰满,都住在他身体里。智慧和知识的宝藏都在他里面。神给他无量的膏油。
他有这么大的权力,他做了什么?圣经上说他服侍人。这不是他的议程。为人服侍是他最大的抱负。
但今天基督教会的情况多有不同?!天才和受膏者不知何故认为恩赐和膏油是他们必须得到服侍的保证。有些人要求别人服侍他们,仅仅是为了他们生活的优雅。这种权利是许多教会成员被剥削的根源。
那不是神的服侍。如果人们要服侍你,那应该是因为他们看到你服侍神和其他人。
