John 10:10 (KJV); The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The devil has no power to kill a child of God because all power was stripped from him by Christ (Matthew 28:18).
When you received Christ in your spirit, you received the stronger man; you were elevated above all powers and principalities and entered into a life of perpetual victory.
Why then do some Christians still suffer at the hands of the enemy? Why does he steal from them, kill them and destroy them yet Christ has given them the abundant life?
Even though the enemy does not have the power to kill, steal from or destroy them, he is cunning enough to get them to agree with him.
Children of God become victims of the enemy when they agree with him. The first place of manipulating this agreement is in the battlefield of the mind.
For example, the enemy may flash the thought that you are falling sick across your mind. When you hold onto that thought, see yourself being diagnosed with a terminal illness, see yourself hospitalised and see yourself undergo all forms of treatment, he will have succeeded in getting you to agree with him.
The wise Christian must uproot the thought at the very moment it comes into his or her mind. If the enemy dares to suggest that you are falling sick, declare the Word of God, “None in zion shall say I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24). Don’t merely shrug it off. Refuse the very idea and thrust it out of your mind immediately.
Make a deliberate choice to always disagree with the enemy but agree with God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I am alive to the wisdom of true spiritual warfare. I am not ignorant of the enemy’s devices. In this understanding, I stand guard at the door of my mind and refuse to agree with his suggestions. I agree with Your Word, Your Spirit and Your purposes concerning my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Obu wayakiira Kristo omu mwoyo waawe, okaakiira orikukiraho omu maani; okatunguurwa ahaiguru y’obushoboorozi n’obutegyeki bwoona kandi wataaha omu magara g’obusinguzi obw’obutoosha.
Kandi ahabw’enki abakristaayo abamwe nibakibonabonesibwa sitaane? Ahabw’enki nabaiba, nabaita kandi nabacwekyereza kandi obwo Kristo abahaire amagara agaijwiire?

Yohana 10:10 (KJV); Mwivi haji ila kuiba, kuua na kuharibu; mimi nalikuja ili wawe na uzima, kisha wawe nao tele.
Ibilisi hana uwezo wa kumuua mwana wa Mungu kwa sababu nguvu zote zilinyang’anywa kutoka kwake na Kristo (Mathayo 28:18).
Wakati ulipompokea Kristo rohoni mwako, ulimpokea Yule mwenye nguvu; uliinuliwa juu ya nguvu na enzi zote na ukaingia katika maisha ya ushindi wa milele.
Kwa nini basi Wakristo wengine bado wanateseka mikononi mwa adui? Kwa nini yeye huwaibia, kuwaua na kuwaangamiza licha ya Kristo kuwapa maisha tele?
Ingawa adui hana uwezo wa kuua, kuiba au kuharibu, yeye ni mjanja wa kutosha kuwafanya wakubaliane naye.
Wana wa Mungu huwa wahasiriwa wa adui wanapokubaliana naye. Sehemu ya kwanza ya kudanganyisha makubaliano haya ni kwenye uwanja wa vita wa akili.
Kwa mfano, adui anaweza kuangaza wazo akilini mwako kwamba unakuwa mgonjwa. Unaposhikilia wazo hilo, ujione ukigunduliwa na ugonjwa sugu, ukilazwa hospitalini na ukipata matibabu ya kila aina, atakuwa amefanikiwa kukufanya ukubaliane naye.
Mkristo mwenye busara lazima aiangushe fikira hiyo mnamo tu inapoingia akilini mwake. Ikiwa adui atathubutu kupendekeza kwamba unaumwa, tangaza Neno la Mungu, “Hakuna mwenyeji wa Zioni atakayesema ni mgonjwa” (Isaya 33:24). Usilipuuze tu. Kataa wazo hilo na uliondoe akilini mwako mara moja.
Fanya uchaguzi wa kimakusudi wa kutokubaliana na adui kila wakati bali wa kukubaliana na Mungu.
