Apostle Grace Lubega
Joshua 1:8 (KJV); This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
In the various places in the Bible where meditation is mentioned, it is accompanied by increase, prosperity and success.
Our theme scripture tells us that out of meditation on God and His Word, a man observes and does what is written therein, makes His way prosperous and has good success.
In 1 Timothy 4:15, the Bible says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”
In Psalm 1:1-3, the Bible says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Meditation is always mentioned in the same breath with success, profiting and prosperity because it is a creative force.
By meditation, we translate spiritual realities into physical realities.

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for opening my eyes to the power of meditation. I embrace it as a habit and a lifestyle. Your Word is constantly on my mind and lips. As I meditate on it, the spiritual realm opens to me at a deeper level, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
