Apostle Grace Lubega
Genesis 12:2 (KJV);And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Greatness should never be confused with fame.
There are many famous people who are not great. In fact, in our fast-paced technology-driven world, there is such a concept as “fifteen minutes of fame.”
There are people who are famous for the wrong reason. They rose to the heights of notoriety for immoral reasons, and even though the spotlight of the world is shining on them, they are not an inspiration to the spirits of men.
In fact, you do not need to be famous to be great. This distinction is very key because there are some who are in pursuit of fame instead of nurturing the greatness inside them.
Fame may fade, child of God but true greatness withstands the test of time.
Greatness is a seed that is planted in you by the will and purposes of God.
In our theme scripture, the Bible points to the essence of greatness and says, “I will make thy name great and thou shall be a blessing.”
God makes you great to be a blessing. He does not make you great so that you bask in the spotlight by admirers. The seed of greatness in you must translate into a blessing to the world!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Greatness is a seed that is planted in you by the will and purposes of God. The seed of greatness in you must translate into a blessing to the world!
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. You are in me and because of that, I know that I am great. The seed of greatness in me is growing every day, nurtured by knowledge and wisdom. The world is a better place because I am in it. I do great things for the sake of the kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
