Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 4:1 (KJV); Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not
In my life of the gospel, I have known men and women who have thrown in the towel halfway through this great journey of ministry. There are those who never even started because they deemed the price too high to pay or the journey too taxing for their emotions.
The reason we never lose heart as ministers of the gospel is that we understand the uniqueness and greatness of the ministry that God has trusted us with. He has made us co-labourers with Him in the great work of changing the lives of men. He has trusted us with immeasurable power and the limitless abilities of His Spirit.
When you understand how incomparable this responsibility and privilege is, you cease to treat ministry as a matter of duty.
The assignment of God upon your life is an extremely great thing. It should never be traded for any form of pleasure, never be despised in the face of trial and persecution, and never be sacrificed at the table of compromise.
The greatness of the ministry we have been trusted with is the reason why we rejoice through the fires of life, smile through the storms, and endure the hostilities of those that question our truth.
You have a great ministry! Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: The assignment of God upon your life is an extremely great thing. It should never be traded for any form of pleasure, never be despised in the face of trial and persecution, and never be sacrificed at the table of compromise.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. Thank You for the mandate upon my life. Thank You for the assignment and the race You have set before me. I treat my altar with deep respect and honour because I know that there is no greater privilege in life than to serve the Almighty God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
