1 Corinthians 9:16 (KJV); For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
The apostle Paul was a man of very deep revelations. The knowledge he was entrusted with laid necessity upon him.
The Message Bible translation of our theme scripture says that he was doomed if he did not proclaim the message of Christ.
This necessity does not apply only to preachers of the gospel. The knowledge that is being availed by God cascades to various disciplines. It is affecting the career woman, the businessman, the student, the wife, the husband, the doctor, the sociologist and all manner of people.
As knowledge increases, it CAN NOT leave a man passive. Look at the experience of Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 20:9. He says, “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his Word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”
This was a man who thought he could receive knowledge and stay indifferent. The knowledge was like fire in his bones, mocking his silence and restraint.
Similarly, we can no longer afford political correctness because we are attempting to package the message in a socially acceptable way that does not offend tender sensibilities. The fire in our bones cannot allow it.
In this generation, because of the increase of knowledge, men will say, woe unto me if I do not change my nation, woe unto me if I do not transform my industry, woe unto me if I do not revolutionise the world of business!

Enzivuunula ya Baibuli eya ” message” mu kyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekigguddewo eyogera nti zimusanze singa teyabuulira bubaka bwa Kristo.
Obuvunaanyizibwa buno tebuli eri babuulizi ba njiri bokka. Okumanya okuweereddwa Katonda kubuna eri abantu ab’enjawulo. Kukwata ku mukyala ow’omulimu, omusajja ow’ebyenfuna, omusomi, omukyala, omwami, omusawo, akola ku nneeyisa y’abantu era buli kika ky’abantu.
Ng’okumanya kweyongera, TEKUSOBOLA kuleka muntu ng’atalina ky’akola. Tunuulira ensisinkana ya Nnabbi Yeremiya mu Yeremiya 20:9. Ayogera “Era bwe njogera nti, Siimwogereko, so sikyayogerera mu linnya lye, kale mu mutima gwange muba ng’omuli omuliro ogubuubbuuka ogusibibwa mu magumba gange, era nga nkooye okuguwanirira, era sisobola.”

Entumwa Paulo akaba ari omuntu w’okushuuruurirwa kwingi. Okumanya okwamuhairwe kukamuretera okuburira agyemesereziibwe.
Envunurira ya Baiburi eya Message ey’omutwe gw’ebyahandiikirwe byaitu negira eti akaba naija kugira enaku kuri ataraburiire obutumwa bwa Kristo.
Okugyemeserezibwa oku tikurikukora aha baburizi b’engiri bonka. Okumanya okutairehwo Ruhanga nikuhika omu bicweeka bitarikushushana. Nikuhindura omurimo gw’omukazi, omushubuzi, omwegyi, abashairwe, omushaho, ow’ebikwatiraine n’obuntu hamwe n’abantu boona.
Okumanya kukurikuba nikweyongyera, TIKURIKUREKA omuntu ari owaburiijo. Reeba eki Nabi Yeremia yarabiremu omu Yeremia 20:9 nagira ati, “Ku ndikugira nti: Ka ndekye kumugambaho, n’obu kwakuba okugaruka kugamba omu iziina rye, omu mutima gwangye oshusha oti harimu omuriro ogurikubuguma oguri omu magufa gangye; okufa mamigye nikundusya, kandi tindikukubaasa.”

Omukwenda Paulo yali musaija w’okusukulirwa okwenziha muno. Okumanya okuyakwasibwe kukamuletera okuhambirizibwa.
Empindura y’abaibuli ey’obutumwa habw’ekyahandikirwe kyaitu eky’omutwe negamba eti akaba ahezire kakuba atararangiriire obutumwa bwa Kristo.
Okuhambirizibwa kunu tikuli kw’abatebezi b’enjiri bonka. Okumanya okuhairweyo Ruhanga nikukwataho ebicweka bingi. Nikukwataho omukazi ow’obumanyi mumirimo, omusaija omusubuzi, omwegi, omukazi omuswerwa, nyin’eka, omufumu, omunyamikago hamu n’abantu ab’ebika byona.
Okumanya obu ku’kuba nikukanya, TIKUSOBORA kuleka omuntu atanyina ky’okukora. Dora eby’omurangi Yeremiya yarabiremu omu Yeremiya 20:9. 1 Wakorintho 9:16 (KJV); Maana, ijapokuwa naihubiri Injili, sina la kujisifia; maana nimewekewa sharti; tena ole wangu nisipoihubiri Injili!
Mtume Paulo alikuwa mtu wa mafunuo mazito sana. Ujuzi aliokabidhiwa uliweka sharti kwake.
Toleo la ‘Ujumbe’ la andiko letu la mada linasema kuwa angehukumiwa ikiwa hangetangaza ujumbe wa Kristo.
Sharti hii haihusu wahubiri wa injili pekee. Ujuzi unaotolewa na Mungu huangazia taaluma mbalimbali. Unaathiri mwanamke wa kazi, mfanyabiashara, mwanafunzi, mke, mume, daktari, mwanasosholojia na kila aina ya watu.
Maarifa yanapoongezeka, HAYAWEZI kumwacha mtu bila kazi. Angalia uzoefu wa Nabii Yeremia katika Yeremia 20:9. Anasema, “Nami nikisema, Sitamtaja, wala sitasema tena kwa jina lake; basi, ndipo moyoni mwangu kumekuwamo kama moto uwakao, uliofungwa ndani ya mifupa yangu, nami nimechoka kwa kustahimili, wala siwezi kujizuia.”
Huyu alikuwa mtu ambaye alifikiri angeweza kupokea ujuzi na kukaa kama asiyejali. Ujuzi huo ulikuwa kama moto katika mifupa yake, ukidhihaki kunyamaza kwake na kujizuia kwake.
Vile vile, hatuwezi tena kumudu usahihi wa kisiasa kwa sababu tunajaribu kuweka ujumbe kwa njia inayokubalika kijamii ambayo haiudhi hisia za huruma. Moto katika mifupa yetu haiwezi kuiruhusu.
Katika kizazi hiki, kwa sababu ya kuongezeka kwa maarifa, watu watasema, ole wangu nisipobadili taifa langu, ole wangu nisipoibadilisha tasnia yangu, ole wangu nisipoleta mapinduzi katika ulimwengu wa biashara!
Yote kwa utukufu wa Mungu, haleluya!
